The Basque language, also known as Euskara, is a language isolate and the last remaining language descended from pre-Indo-European roots after all the others were displaced during the Bronze Age. My RX580 is about to be seven years old, and I still haven’t encountered any game that is 1) too intense for it and 2) actually worth playing, considering usually only AAA games are resource-intensive and 99% of them are MTX trash
I was talking with a friend today about Hallmark movies because we all seem to have at least one grandma who loves them around this time of year, and we’re hashing out the tropes they all share because they’re so formulaic that you could probably boil it down to a mad libs prompt, and something dawned on me because of one...
These movies aren’t just any wish fulfillment, they’re meant to be a panacea that assures the viewer that she made the right choice in being a stay-at-home mom, and that she would have regretted pursuing her career.
I want a Hallmark movie where a high-powered executive comes back to his hometown, helps save the Christmas tree lighting ceremony, and decides to leave his career to be with his shortstack tomboy wife and be her himbo kept husband on her ranch.
I’ll go first. Mine is that I can’t stand the Deadpool movies. They are self aware and self referential to an obnoxious degree. It’s like being continually reminded that I am in a movie. I swear the success of that movie has directly lead to every blockbuster having to have a joke every 30 seconds
Would you rather the Dodgers’ owners just pocket that money instead? The issue is the amount of money going through the sport in general, not the amount that the actual players get. They should always be getting the majority of the revenue.
Given the number of times I’ve seen cops on police forums and r/protectandserve use terms like “bikefags”, I think it’s just the typical cop disgust of anything they perceive to be weak or effeminate.
That’s still an advertisement. It’s an advertisement for something you’re already using to encourage you to use more features of it so they can get analytic data from your usage patterns.
It doesn’t have to be, we can thank decades of slashing taxes on the rich and on their companies for that, as well as allowing manufacturing outsourcing to go unpunished instead of forcing American companies to continue to use unionized American labor.
