There’s two parts, amount of sleep and teens have a later sleep schedule (ie night owl).

But in any case just because some may abuse it doesn’t mean we shouldn’t have it for everyone else.

I don’t get this, I was always responsible to get myself up and to school. I can’t imagine kids not being able to do this.

Um no, because teens are naturally on a later schedule with their circadian rhythm. They are natural night owls. Their circadian rhythm signals their body to go to sleep later than children or adults. Read into it, this is well researched.

I read one story the young adult finally convinced his dad when he showed him a job posting for his old job. It payed less than when he had it, not even accounting for inflation.

Honestly if you’ve been on Reddit for a long time, you miss when it was smaller. It’s so big now that every sub is massive (which has its positives and negatives). But gone are the days when an AMA of a garbage man would be the big post.
