thorbot,

Don’t make me blow it up

thorbot,

Damn, there’s a lot of angry, self-harm promoting people in this thread. Take care of yourself people. Take it one day at a time. The Earth is still here, for now.

What's an alternative to Spotify that doesn't play you the same fucking songs over and over?

I am in an intense love-hate relationship with Spotify. It makes good mixes for me, I have found a lot of great bands that way. BUT IT KEEPS REGURGITATING THE SAME SONGS IN THERE. I know about Song Radios and Artist Radios, so please don’t recommend those. Smart Shuttle doesn’t cut it, either....

thorbot,

I’m ready for downvotes but I use Apple Music and it plays me new music all the time. And if it repeats a song I just say suggest less and it goes away. I play my station and it’s a nice mix of music I like and new stuff.

thorbot,

This is a weirdly reductionist take. Implying that anyone can be “trained to code” seems to imply that coding is a rote skill that can be easily trained into anyone, completely dismissing the fact that some brains will just inherently do better at it than others. Also the generalization you make about companies that are willing to to train their potential hires is not true everywhere.

thorbot,

This is why I like games with lots of interaction. Then you can curse each other out before you kill them

thorbot,

Until you spend the 48 hours of processing time needed to unpack it…

thorbot,

That doesn’t make the unpacked files take less space…

thorbot,

The whole thread is about storage space, I was just exaggerating with the 48 hours comment

thorbot,

BRB switching my VPN location to the fucking NETHERLANDS

thorbot,

I use THC daily and still have vivid and memorable dreams

thorbot, (edited )

I know it’s just a meme but I would love to never lay eyes on this fucking piece of human shit ever again

thorbot,

Instead of answering their question, tell them something completely different from what they asked.

thorbot,

No, it’s the same as every other program that dials home. If it’s a proper cracked version that part will be already removed, if not you can just block the network communications from any of it’s components.

thorbot,

For real. GIMP is trash if you are well established in photoshop automations and workspaces.

thorbot,

found the fucking vegan, though how could you not, they always announce themselves

thorbot,

Brilliant retort

thorbot,

It takes me 45 minutes to cry sometimes. Don’t judge me

What VPN do you use and why?

If you are a pirate VPN is an essential tool. I am trying to ascertain the popularity of various VPNs in piracy community. In this excerise, I will list several Popular VPNs in the comment if you use one of them just upvote that comment and reply the reason. If you don’t find your VPN listed add a comment with just their name....

thorbot,

I think you meant to reply to my post. Yes it’s the exclusive trackers that keep you safe from needing a VPN, seeding is always part of torrenting. You can earn your way into those bigger private trackers by joining an invite forum and contributing enough, once you show good ratios form other sites you’ll get invites to the big ones like TorrentLeech

thorbot,

I used a site called torrent-invites back in the day, now this was like 15 or 20 years ago so sadly I don’t know of a modern one, but I am sure you can find one if you look around. I wouldn’t worry about a VPN unless you are using ThePirateBay or some crap like that

thorbot,

I love seeing these posts because I’ve been pirating for almost 20 years and never once have I paid for or used a VPN. I’ve never received a letter from my ISP about it. If you use a trustworthy private tracker you don’t fucking need it. Downvote me all you want but I’m not wrong.

thorbot,

Can we please leave this incel level NNN shit on Reddit please? Who the fuck thinks it’s a good idea to continue spreading this idiocy
