I mean you can just say NFL in general. Ruins a good chunk of the year hearing about it during work discussions.
No, I will never care about a sport, and especially not overpaid assholes who play it for more money in a couple minutes than I will ever make in years, or more in one game than I will ever see in one place ever.
If I had a genie I would change culture so sports got moved to the same category as politics and religion so you’d never hear about it if you weren’t around scumbags.

Exactly. I cannot comprehend people with dozens of windows with thousands of them. How do you find literally anything at that point?
I usually close all, sometimes if I start a long video I’ll keep it open and paused until I come back to watch more of it. But that’s just one, and just because that site won’t remember where I left off, and I don’t want to memorize what the timestamp is. I will have to refresh the page to get it to resume loading the video, but I can remember the timestamp for the 2 seconds it takes to reload and click back to it. But I’ll forget if I have to come back hours later.
I pay for Spotify for 7 years or so now and i'm so sick of all the ads. After every update there seems to be an: oops, sorry, you have ads now. Podcasts are filled with ads. I was just listening to a podcast where they shoved in 3 ads mid-sentence. How long until musicians put ads in their songs. I'm just so sick of it.
Unless they’re talking about ads that the podcasters themselves at to the recording. They’re not all inserted by whatever platform you get them from. This is what they’re referring to.
I don’t recall the name of it, it was not a big Hollywood movie or anything, and it was super low budget.
But it was some old Christian movie about what will happen to you if you don’t get “saved” before the Rapture happens. I remember a song called “I wish we’d all been ready” playing. Not sure if that’s the name of the song, not even positive it was actually in the movie at all, or if it was just something I heard around the same time and the memory is getting blurred.
From what I recall, it looked like it was made in the 70s.
I wish I remembered more about it. It was intended to scare the shit out of you to believe in religion. Worked on me at the time, I remember praying like a million times to make sure I did it right the night I watched it, and randomly at times for years as I remembered the scared-shitless feeling.
Other than your carrier give it for free or cheap, I don’t really see the reason why should you buy new phone. I’ve been using Redmi Note 9 for past 3 years and recently got my had on Poco F5. I don’t see the point of my ‘upgrade’. I sold it and come back to my Note 9. Gaming? Most of them are p2w or microtransaction...
I got the pixel 7 last year since my old pixel 2xl was out of security.
Well that and the battery was terrible and it was sluggish as well in general and a screen crack that didn’t affect functionally, but was annoying af. Still have it around as a spare device to go back to if this one has an issue.
Brought to you by my discovery that some people think that “the customer is always right” isn’t the slogan of a long-dead department store, but rather it’s an actual call the cops law.

What movie scared you shitless when you were a child?
For me it was Event Horizon, that was scary as hell when I was a kid, I had nightmares for months.
What's the point of buying new phones every years?

People who work in food service or customer service: What’s the dumbest thing a customer ever insisted was “the law” or “illegal”?
