People that don't have TV in their house, what the hell do you do with your free time?
I’ve seen quite a few homes with no tvs to be seen, like what are yall doing with your time? I couldn’t imagine a family room without a tv.

Q1: What is the model/type of your monitor and would you recommend it?...
Less social media, do not disturb, lots to try, not much works.
I’ve used Indeed, Glassdoor and LinkedIn in the past with mixed results. Where do you guys go if you’re job hunting?
Not having to use toilet paper sounds pretty convenient.
My feed is all covered in beans, what the hell is happening?
I wasn’t sure where to ask so I chose here. The other day I saw a post encouraging people to spread the load on lemmy.world and jump onto other instances....
I’m currently struggling to find my home. I have an account here at lemmy.ml, where most of my posts are, and one at kbin....
I’d like to have a nice experience that works seamlessly with my phone’s os. Ever think that’ll be a reality? Anybody working on something?
I’m on Vlemmy using wefwef
If it helps, her mom and I have been married a hair over a month.
What are some good resources to learn and get an overview of how federation between servers is actually handled?...
My first lemmy post. Hello World! What’s the best iPhone app thus far? Mastadon doesn’t know what to do with lemmy URLs heh…
My favourite part of Reddit were comments. Almost every time they were better than the post itself. Yeah quality was kinda low, but you could find some meaningfull discussion or useful information. On Lemmy every post in my feed has maximum 10 comments. Where can I find more?
Hi all, a shout-out for assistance. I’m considering hosting a Lemmy instance (assuming I can pass the wife test on costs) and I’m looking for some guidance on specs....

And if that’s possible, why are servers needed at all? Can’t an app just create a server per user and run it on the users device?
Hey Lemmings...
I don’t want to see porn on my feed, so i disabled nsfw. However, alot of memes are marked as nsfw. Is there anyway a new system could be implemented here in Lemmy? Like a nsfw filter and a rnsfw(really not safe for work)?
Reddit is going to have their IPO. Anybody can buy shares. With enough shares, a shareholder resolution could be proposed and passed. Similar shareholder activism has forced Fortune 500 companies to divest from fossil fuels. We could replace corporate execs at will and have major site changes be put to a site-wide vote. This is...
By “worst”, I mean most toxic, most misinformed, most discriminatory, etc (not related to the owners of the site, e.g. Elon throwing out the trash by adding ratelimits).
I find that Hot and Active give you really old stuff, at least on my instance, that's like 3-7 days old stuff. New is just new, you know new, no community-assured quality. Top is stuff I've already seen. Where do I get a better feed? Can we have like Top 7 hours? Or a mixture of "top 16 hours" and "active"?...
