Selfhosted or not, you can also make keepassxc portable with a usb drive.

Dudeā¦ KeepassXC has portables for linux, there is no need to mess with wine or mono. As long as you have both portable versions of KeepassXC, you will not have a problem. You can totally have your database sync between OSs.
For Linux, just get the AppImage for the portable.
For Windows, get the Portable ZIP archive.
Shove them both into a USB, you have KeepassXC portable for both OSs on a stick.

I find it immensely relatable, as I think a huge number of problems in the world today stem from simply apathy. People who say they dislike the state of the world and even that they want to change it, but refuse to do absolutely anything at all, being perfectly content to just let bad things happen.
This comment reminds me of the Eichmann trial. He wasnāt inherently evil like we want to believe. He was just a man doing his job, sending jews to their death. Itās pretty chilling to think about the evils he carried out when he was just doing what he was told to do.
Another somewhat counterpoint, I think in todayās society itās harder than it traditionally has been. Specifically, I would love to go to protests and be more active. But for me itās really hard to do that because I have obligations. Specifically, I canāt take a week off of work to go to DC and hold some signs. Itās not that Iām refusing to do anything, I just donāt have the time when Iām more worried about my mortgage. I do donate to charities but itās very difficult to do much more because of debt.
Me too! But the other problem I have is if I get hurt at a protest I canāt work. Iām the primary breadwinner for my houshold. So if I go to jail, or get shot with a rubber bullet, my family will starve.
āEveryday is somebodyās first day.ā I think of it like a more generous Hanlonās Razor āNever attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.ā Especially when an employee is perhaps not doing a good job or is slow. If it was my first day on the job, Iād like a little consideration.
