Typing this 11 days after the initial question was asked and things have changed a lot since.
I’ve tried two apps: voyager (used to be called wefwef) and memmy.
Voyager has one problem for me on iOS 15.7: When I tap and hold an image no menu shows up, and I have no way of directly sharing an image. I can only share the link, but I don’t want to do that. So if i want to share memes directly with friends and family I can’t do that. I’ve tried to explain the problem in github but it seems like it’s not a high priority and difficult for them to reproduce. I wonder if this is rooted on voyager being a web app.
Memmy on the other hand has made great progress and for me is the winner because it allows to share the images directly like I used to in apollo. They’ve now fixed the swipe to close gesture being too harsh, and thus I have what I need.
Nah man no judgement. I’m just glad the games took off and I get to share my favorite series with others! Before Tri I had never met anyone else who knew of the series, and after World there’s plenty of people who know and are excited about the series!
“Nothing happens in god’s world by mistake.” “God never gives you more than you can handle.” Etc etc.
When 1 in 6 women has been sexually assaulted in their lives (and many men and NB folks), that’s a really fucked up thing to say. You never know what someone’s been through, and I’ve personally been through a lot of awful things. I guess it helps some people to tell themselves this kind of shit, but it is impossible to me to think of any kind of meaning that would make being a victim of violent crime “positive” or “worth it” or “a learning experience” blah blah blah. I think the term for that is “toxic positivity.”
So either “everything happens for a reason” is utter bullshit, or god is a sadistic fucking asshole.
I’m a Christian but I support the school of thought that says “shit happens”.
Another problem with the thinking “everything happens for a reason” is that it can lead to belief in “the just world”. When one thinks that life is fair you start to believe that bad things only happens to bad people, ie they deserve it.
Yes as long as you have a Gmail account and a payment method you can put on file you can use Google Play without a sim card just over wifi. All a sim card does is connect you to a cellular network, it shouldn’t really affect your ability to set up any Google services
yes. use wifi instead of sim-card data and you’re all set. i doubt google play services care which way of data transfer you’re using to access your account on play store.
