What is something you think leftists are not ready to hear but need to hear it?
That’s leftists. Not Democrats. Anyone to the left of Democratic socialist. So not Bernie Sanders either.

I remember a while back Apple filed a patent that allows concerts to disable iPhones cameras if a certain signal is emitted from the stage. Apple never implemented this, but my pessemistic ass always try to think of worse case scenarios, like being used by government. Do you think this could occur in the future?...
I recently created a post on Game development about Bevy and it opens fine: lemmy.ml/post/1884869...
Dont know if its only me but I have never been able to view my profile on the Memmy app
The Taliban got the coveted Twitter endorsement!? Here it is right from the horses mouth and courtesy of Rolling Stone.
Hello, do you know about a script or app or so that can backup data from a Lemmy instance as an end-user? At least the list of subscribed communities, settings, profile (bio) should be nice. I’ve been on VLemmy and lost one full evening trying to figure out what my subscription were (well not completely lost my time I also...
Like a lot of others, I’ve been looking at Reddit alternatives recently which is what landed me here at Lemmy....
I been trying to search and finally found lemmynsfw.com/c/gaybrosgonewild but I can’t add it anywhere. I searched but nothing pops up. And can’t find a place to subscribe. I’m looking to subscribe to it and have it pop up on my feed but I can’t seem to figure out how. It’s rather frustrating and if I can’t find a...
Things like movies, books, games, songs, etc just what was the best one you even experienced that you kinda wish you could do for the first time again, also what made it so good?
Other than subscribing to communities, how else can I expand my feed some? I just started working with Lemmy over the weekend and I’d like to see comments from more than just the communities I subscribe to so that I can learn about others.
Won’t it be confusing? Are there plans to merge both of them together?

And how many of those accounts are for NSFW content?...
I chose my instance 9 or so months ago purely because it was suggested by the Jerboa app at the time. In lieu of making numerous accounts to access communities that aren’t federated with my instance, I was hoping to make a second account with a very “federated” instance. Any suggestions?...
I use a few different programs for completion of job cards etc when i do worm and submit reports....
I just jumped onto lemmy.world on PC during lunch break and got some sick images popping up (some guy stating he raped a child in the woods) and old men having sex. I stopped there. Is Lemmy under attack or? I’m on mobile now and it hasn’t happened here.
I dunno whether to mark this NSFW or not but do your worst.
Seeing a big “politics” community in both lemmy.ml and lemmy.world just confuses me as to which I should be subscribing to and I don’t really want to subscribe to both....
Is there a way to block posts from specific lemmy communities? I want to browse “All” without having to worry about porn showing up
I joined Lemmy a few weeks before the API change. I loved the conversations. I loved how the content was slower but more engaging, and less politically charged. There was nobody shitting on Elon Musk, or Twitter, or Reddit....
This seems like a good place so far tbh
My idea is this: I just want to send to a server like this a request from my domain name and username, but I don’t want to run a full instance. Is this technically possible?
I feel like my house is constantly a fucking mess. My wife and I work 80 hours between us and we have a 2 year old and I feel like it’s constantly a mess....

We can upload images directly to Lemmy but that does increase the load on the instances. What other services do you recommend? Do you have a go to?
