I don’t think that there is likely such a thing that would produce a direct response. If you wanted to not be noticed, why would you change your behavior based on what something else transmits?
Yes, and UberEats in particular is big mad about it. It brings me joy to tap “Deny” everytime it asks me to turn them back on.
The only notifications I get are texts/calls, and a couple smart-home things that are set to warn me about temps or when a light-timer turns on or off. Not even social media, especially not social media, get to interrupt my day.
No, but I tend to disable a bunch of the categories. If it makes it hard to avoid BS/irrelevant/uninteresting/"fake" notifications, notification perms go away, or the whole app does, usually with a free one-star rating. (As if that realistically matters)

Can you show it to me for me+Lemmy.ML im legit curious about why they put a pin in me. I have zero pride about me/it despite my recent post concerning same. I’m judt pissed i nvr found out what did it but I’m curious/desirous of finding out and Lemmy can hold my feet to the fire Re:holding myself accountable if its a real reason and not some of the ideological bullcrap they’ve been accused of
Suggestion that did a lot for me. Get cheap smart lights or at least a smart outlet. Turn them on before your alarm (gradual ramp up is ideal, but just turning on is better than nothing). It makes mornings a lot less brutal.
I set up a ton of overcomplicated functions to control my home theater. Entirely replaced an old Harmony remote with my phone.
Only real downside (apart from the time sink and occasional Siri weirdness) is that it relies on a couple of apps and one in particular (which I use for changing the input) the dev likes to break on updates.
I suppose that I have had some kind of alarm with a snooze capability since about 1980. When I first had a clock radio with that option I recall trying it a couple of times, but I have never touched it since. I was just lying there waiting for it to go off again. Nothing in any way restful about that.
