I don't member the exact model but I had an LG Voyager that i held onto for a long time... I did NOT want to give up my physical keyboard for the touchscreen keyboard so I held out as long as I could. If Samsung came out with a slide-out keyboard for smartphones I'd be on that shit right away.
I think social media has the ability to make things impossible to ignore, things that previously people were able to ignore.
Things such as police brutality, mass shootings, for instance, probably were just as common back then as it is now. But now we’re paying attention to it. I think it’s the same thing here. People have always had a different public and personal life. It would be incredibly odd if someone didn’t. But social media is making people pay attention to the fact that there’s some people whose private lives are ugly, but who try to project a perfect public life anyways.
Don’t think that’s an option really, the file manager is like the android version of the open file dialog in Windows now. Ever since they implimented secure app storage. Like op replied to you it’s mostly hard coded in the apps or something. It’s gonna get worse too, pretty sure android 12 made it so you can’t use a third party camera for pictures taken through other apps, and on my OP9 Pro you can’t select a alternative gallery app.
It’s like Reddit was before they started trying to monetize it and screw over the better apps. It’s probably impossible for it to get screwed up like Reddit did. Fewer users, though, for better or for worse.
A Nokia 3100 … it was the first phone I bought, and I kept it through college and beyond.
The thing was a beast :-)
128x128 pixel screen, with 12-bit RGB. No WiFi, no Bluetooth. Had some web access with WAP (no not that! “Wireless Access Protocol”). It did have a camera module though /rofl
I wear a hybrid watch made by kronaby. I just need to keep my phone unlocked and it lets you change/pause music so I’m more than satisfied. It even tracks your steps and whatnot but I don’t ever use that.
I forgot to mention the battery lasts months so there’s also that going for it
