WoW was my introduction to MMOs, and ive never really replaced it, despite trying out ff and eso. That voids still unfilled, but I have picked up Warframe, which i suppose might technically count, but its not quite the same - third person mission based sci fantasy shooter doesnt quite scratch the same itch, but it is an mmo.
Great quests, i really enjoy them when they come in.
Labyrinthine progression system, im currently building a new class so that i can generate an Impact weapon and then i’ll throw the class into the dumpster, absorb its power blue-mage style, slap it on a different class, and use an upgrade from another part of the game to turn that impact weapon into an energy generator, slap the ability on another class i like, and use the impact energy generator fueled ability to set up a whip attack that needs enemies affected by the blue maged impact energy weapon fueled ability to farm another - ok ill stop, but its this kind of game.
The space hats are good and pretty to look at. most important part imo.
I haven’t seen anyone say galavant, that’s a shame, somehow it got 2 seasons, and it’s brilliant the whole way through. If princess Bride had more back story arcs, fewer restrictions on how over the top they could make their characters, and was a musical, you’d have galavant.
I don’t think the north and south poles have much satellite coverage due to how orbits work, so maybe in the arctic or antarctic oceans, but they’re pretty treacherous, so probably somewhere in the Pacific or southern Indian oceans?
Yeah never heard them before but my gf had a feeling I would like them!
I have no idea if it’s what the singers had in mind but I feel so like pro union listening to it. So many corporations have proven a million times that the only reason they don’t kill more people is because of potential negative profits.
I’ve given up trying to crack where the identity of the band is, I’m pretty sure we’d be inline, but some of the tracks make us pause the music and discuss if we’re being duped by killer licks.
An excellent band with an excellent sound. I hope they make more albums!
It depends what you are hiding from. If you want to avoid notice from random encounters, you would want to head out to sea. So long as you’re over the horizon from any shipping lanes, you’re as close to invisible as you can get.
If your goal is to evade an active military search, you want clutter, and a lot of it. Military radar can sweep vast areas quickly. Satellites can spot ships at sea, so long as the sky is clear enough. Islands and coastline can mess with these however. Get into an out of the way bay, and throw up camo netting, and your ship is now just another bit of rock to the satellites, and it’s part of the noise to radar. The cost of this cover is that it is also attractive to random tourist boats, or fishing boats.
I suspect the motive of the protagonist will affect the answer to your question. What are they doing out there? If the goal is to catch fish, for example, maybe don’t go somewhere with no fish, right?
The trouble then becomes crossing the equator since (a) there’s probably a lot more satellite coverage at the equator and (b) hurricanes don’t cross the equator
Its super awkward when youre too busy unlatching your ground harness to connect your toilet harness that you forget to lock the door, and some cobber walks in and sees you hanging there with your dick and balls out, pooping into the void of space.
Yep. There is even a part of the Pacific that is on the opposite side of another part of the Pacific. The Pacific is also home to Point Nemo with is the place on the ocean farthest away from land.
