The ones I currently play are Melvor Idle, Idle Skilling, Stone Story, Idling to rule the gods and Legends of idleon. If you like somewhat more complex Idler i’d recomment Idling to rule the gods and Legends of idleon. Melvor idle is pretty simple. It is basicly Runesscape if it was a idle game. Idle skilling is simillar to clicker heroes kinda and Stone Story is just visualy interesting with its ascii art. I think all of them are at least worth a try. Idling to rule the gods is the one I played probably the most. My current run is 5 or 6 years now.
Oh I forgot about Kittens game. Pretty good too if even some times a little repetetive though + Home quest. Both are city building idlers if you are interested in such games as well.
I play with friends. It is out hang out time. That is the addictive part. I can’t play single player games at all, always get bored after couple of hours. Solo online games are pretty much the same.
Basically indestructible soles and insoles in terms of wear and tear, and an indestructible in general toe cap. Soft enough insoles to cushion, but firm enough to support. Light enough to use everywhere without feeling like I’m walking on King Kai’s planet. Self-tightening laces and mouth. GPS tracking in case I can’t find them or someone’s stolen them.
I game to avoid my crippling depression and mask it with by not climbing up the competitive ladders. The feeling of winning one round after you lost 2 in a row is one thing that keeps me going. I do it for the Dopamine, the achievement progress and the battle pass that sometimes isn’t worth it.
Who diagnosed and when were you diagnosed? If diagnosed as a teen or adult, your even more likely to have both.
From the NLM
According to the scientific literature, 50 to 70% of individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) also present with comorbid attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)
You can even find higher percentages cited from less sciency sources.
If you don’t see someone for it (symptoms, like depression) you really should. Take care of yourself, I know it’s not fun, trust me I am learning how to do it myself. But in the end it will payoff.
Whatever your dealing with won’t get any easier as you get older, take it from me.
Yup. Don’t care how heavy or ugly it is either. I’d probably buy the apple headset thing if it was cheaper, ran Linux, and wasn’t made by Apple. Can’t wait for the technology to come down in price.
In fact, I made my own. It’s fugly and dorky as hell, but it’s everything I want and nothing I don’t.
I used a VuFine LCD eyepiece and hooked a raspi Zero W to it. Input via Bluetooth keyboard. Not a lot of screen real estate, so I went full CLI and wrote my own TUI with widget support so I can have an “active” app, plus a bunch of passive data widgets.
I think it would be pretty easy to blend into the future than the past. Though I don’t think in either case you’d necessarily be outed as a time traveler. The past, you’re a witch. The future, you’re just a crazy person.
Nah the future, you’re like your grandparents who don’t know how to Google, but so much worse. Technology has progressed so far, we wouldn’t recognize it, but it’ll have been taught from. Society will be so fundamentally different that we don’t even have the context to discuss it here. The past, we can make suppositions, and while some will be wrong, we have some idea of what it’s like, but the future, we’d be like a Napoleonic war veteran running out of gas in his car because he can’t read the dials, didn’t know what gas is, and can’t use a gas pump because he has no bank account and cannot open one without a social security card.
Technology still needs to be designed to be used. Think of all the technology that still retains its basic form and only the material it’s made of significantly changing. The Boomers that call for annoying tech support questions are just refusing to learn a new skill.
Yeah, I don’t think spoons, and sandwiches, and socks are going to change that much. Most ‘tech’ changes a couple of times in a single lifetime (this was true even several hundred years ago), but the basics stay largely the same. Language is how they’ll catch you
Honestly like iron mans HUD would be pretty neat to have but knowing myself I’d end up getting ran over while walking or would be easy pickings for a thief
Edit: Forgot to mention what I use. After getting a pair of buds+ I dont really fumble for my device anymore. Samsung’s touch controls for the buds+ are great. Setup with the app once and delete it right after and you’re golden
I already hate that I have to have my phone with me at all times (cause of work and family that wants me to be available). Definitely don’t want to wear another thing tracking me, distracting me and spamming notifications.
If I had to switch my phone to a wearable the best would probably be an earpiece that reads text for me, if needed.
Glasses and wristbands are a privacy nightmare and I can’t wait for people to get AR ads with their shiny new glasses.
Guess under those circumstances a health tracker might be a useful thing. I’m not a huge fan of quantifying that kinda stuff, but getting a heads up for problems would be nice. Don’t give me any shit like a sleep score or whatever, just beep me if my heart is beating irregularly or something else is wrong.
But as the other guy said, I’m too much of a pessimist to believe in a gadget like that ever existing ;) There’s always gonna be data mining and companies bombarding you with bullshit and ads.
I saw a mrwhosetheboss video going over the Huawei tech we’re missing out on in the states and their smartwatches really impressed me besides the small stuff like lacking an app store on them
I have to be honest, my first and only smartwatch before this one was the watch 2 i think it was called. I bought it used and the battery was only good for a day or a day and a half tops. It was also slow and not very responsive, so i was truly blown away by this one. Always having emergency earbuds on hands is really nice too, although i haven't used them as much as i thought i would. I don't know about the app store thing, because i have all i need on it pretty much stock. Now in hindsight i would've probably been better off with one of those ink screen watches where the battery lasts a month or so. But otherwise i'm very happy, i wear it every day.
