interceder270, 1 year ago Doesn’t really make sense to recommend suse as a first-time distro since knowledge of it doesn’t really carry over to other distros. It’s kind of its own thing with YaST. I’d recommend pretty much any major distro for beginners before opensuse, even Fedora. At least with Fedora you gain some Red Hat knowledge.
