Yeah but sometimes it’s the ESR version which is super slow to get feature updates. Though I suppose that’s fair for distros intended for server or other enterprise applications.
My work stuff wont work in firefox, yeah that’s a new fun enterprise thing. In any case I use edge on osx for those few sites, firefox for everything else.
why not? it is clearer to read, and being more explicit when writing scripts can be safer, maybe not in this case, but if you echoed a variable without quotes, it could possibly expand as a glob
maybe not in this case, but we’re talking about this case. Quoting is needed when it’s needed, otherwise, well, is not needed. Rest assured zealotries tend to disappear the more time you’re exposed to this stuff ;) but in the meanwhile prepare yourself for some PR rejections should you ever work with me hahaha cheers
I actually have a bit of an interesting combo. I use Ubuntu 22.04 LTS with xfce4 and xubuntu-desktop added after the fact with my install that used the regular Ubuntu installer, because the last time I used the XUbuntu installer, it was buggy for me. lol
This needs a coffee siphon as well, might even fit gentoo better than the espresso maker. harder to set up, takes longer but it’s different from what everyone else is using ;) great coffee, too
