MisterD, What’s Windows? Instant coffee with cuddled cream
criticon, Burnt coffee from an industrial coffee maker
Zorque, Windows is Hot Cocoa. It's comforting and warm, but not really what you're wanting right now. And probably not great for you.
merc, I think Windows is hot chocolate from an instant packet where you just add hot water.
It’s objectively pretty bad, it’s definitely not coffee, but it’s easy to make, and you get the same standard thing every time.
EuroNutellaMan, No that would be Linux Mint (comforting and warm part anyways). Windows would be a coffee ad
zalgotext, Windows would be coffee from a national chain, but when you take the lid off, there’s an ad under it, there’s an ad on the side of the cup, and at the very bottom of the cup there’s an ad that you don’t see until you’ve drank all the coffee. Oh and it comes with cream and sugar by default, even if you prefer it black. It also comes with ads for a subscription to a cream and sugar delivery service.
PlexSheep, Windows is having coffee delivered. It’s cold since days now.
cley_faye, Ubuntu: also now coffee is replaced by soy milk and rat poop. Rejoice.
EuroNutellaMan, soy milk and rat poop
Still a better alternative to snaps
ccdfa,
sudo apt install firefox
is all I need to say to justify why I’ll never touch Ubuntu again.
DmMacniel, because they bend apt to install snaps first when available?
infinitevalence, Y’all acting like 10 years is a long time… I expect that to be the minimum out of any capital expense for a “durable” good.
cygnus, So… which version of Debian are you running at the moment?
BautAufWasEuchAufbaut, I wish

HeyThisIsntTheYMCA, Either apartheid or Hannah Montana
EmoBean, I’m trying to compile my own mix of temple and Hannah Montana to get the most effective least bloat os possible.
KingThrillgore, (edited ) You boot into an OCaml REPL
superduperenigma, You snort that raw, uncut TempleOS and look God in the face every time you boot your machine up.
EmoBean, … you already read my comment about temple and Hannah Montana, right? This isn’t a meme.
gnurd, What about people who have an automatic espresso machine? Grinds the beans then Tampa and brews all with one button? Gotta make sure the settings are perfect. A mix on 2 and 5 I guess.
Pantherina, Ublue
soljin, If I make cold brew for 2 weeks at a time with a bucket and a fish pump what distro am I?
Shareni, Guix
maiskanzler, Dangerously close to TempleOS.
polle, I literally lolled.
KingThrillgore, (edited ) As both an Arch and Ubuntu user who drinks coffee from an aeropress, tea from an infuser, and jenkem from a old crusty sock under my bed, I feel attacked
Tattorack, I hate coffee, I drink tea, and I use Ubuntu.
What now?
dustyData, It’s ok, Ubuntu breaks if you actually try to use it to make coffee, and when you try to service it you find mold and sludge in the pipes.
xePBMg9, I’m a tea enthusiast as well. I run arch and only have an idea of what I’m doing half the time.
devfuuu, (edited ) I see there’s a lot of tea enthusiasts who use arch around. Maybe there’s something to explore here. I drink tea btw.
Bye, I can’t have caffeine and I use ubuntu
Checkmate
Voyajer, You use the tea Keurig pods
Exec, What distro would a 3 in 1 packet be?
Pantherina, Distrobox but in bad
SexualPolytope, MacOS is Starbucks.
baseless_discourse, (edited ) expensive coffee that tastes terrible!
ichmagrum, German You get to choose between burnt-tasting black coffee and a pint of milk with more syrup than espresso!
QueriesQueried, Worse, expensive coffee that tastes mediocre, but they insist they were the first ones to add flavourings to it.
SexualPolytope, The Debian one should be a French press. Old and reliable.
ichmagrum, German Coffee filter machines are also old and reliable, very traditional (where I live, at least; French presses are a newer trend compared to that) and very practical-minded (IMO it usually tastes like crap, but you can make a lot of it at once and it stays warm for a long time).
user224, As someone who’s never drank coffee (yes, really), what distro should I use?
I currently daily-drive Manjaro (Plasma) with Linux Mint 20.3 (Cinnamon) installed as a trusty backup.
BiggestBulb, If you've never drank coffee, you should be using Windows lol
skillissuer, what distro would a sixpack of energy drinks be? what distro would a cup of yerba mate be?
aniki, deleted_by_author
zipsglacier, Cold-brewing pop user here
skillissuer, i just had both and i’m using LMDE
spacesweedkid27, Fedora user made this…
aniki, deleted_by_author
PainInTheAES, Linus Torvalds uses Fedora lmao
biscuitswalrus, For asahi on Mac m1 iirc. What coffee is he?
knatschus, Fairtrade Coffee from Starbucks
PainInTheAES, Nah since 2008 according to Wikipedia. But I feel like Asahi would be a siphon coffee maker
Pantherina, Uhm… I dont think so XD
ebits21, I use an aeropress and Silverblue. Seem right?
