CaptPretentious, I’d say yes. The people you’re close with are the people that you’ve vetted. You have same or similar energy, opinions, humor, etc.
At my age I’m just sick of other people shit. People who are rude, obnoxious, entitled, self-centered, etc… so I more and more resemble the left side.
Sabre363, I have recently acquired some new comfy friends . . . it is indeed quite whelming.
