thefartographer, in found a confusing bolt cleaning my parents' garage

Ugh, happens to me all the time when I get overconfident trying to hammer in bolts.

vettnerk, in found a confusing bolt cleaning my parents' garage

At my old job we had some of these on the wall for hanging our hardhats.

over_clox, in found a confusing bolt cleaning my parents' garage

I’ve had to help someone tighten a bolt like this before. It was used to attach the deck assembly to the underside of a riding lawnmower.

CoderKat, in Mario Cake for a Mario Fan

Really well done! I hadn’t thought about a pixel art cake before and now I want one.

That cake would have been cool as hell any time in the last thirty years.

Well that looks terrifying

Agent641,

Even though it looks terrifying, I can assure you that it also feels terrifying.

schwim, in LOOKING FOR NEW MODERATORS
@schwim@reddthat.com avatar

I wonder if the abandonment occurred around the time that image uploads were disabled, old images wiped and instance was often down. That’s about the time I realized it was basically impossible to moderate and contribute to a community I created on the instance. I now handle mod duties from another instance, one that is usually accessible and allows image uploads.

antik,
@antik@lemmy.world avatar

Image uploads are not disabled. There was an issue that was resolved. And if you look at the moderator for this community you see that they have been inactive for about 2 months, long before any of that.

DougHolland,
@DougHolland@lemmy.world avatar

I’m still unable to upload images, and images uploaded before the issue yield only error messages.

pinkdrunkenelephants,

User login is broken, especially on a regular computer and I had to finagle with the site just to be able to login on mobile.

Ergo there are many reasons why the original mod is not here, and abandonment isn’t necessarily one of them

I believe you first need to trim the pellicle before you serve up that dry aged cheese.
