I don;t remember but i saw it here/reddit that they are available on private trackers’ forums. I am on Avistaz, bakabt, torrentleech and few others not worth mentioning. I would like to learn more...

I could probably afford it, but I’d rather save my money, so I’ve been looking into different ways of obtaining music for free....

I don’t have a lot of HDD space so I only seed torrents that I download to ratio of 2. Recently I discovered Stremio and torrentio add on. It is nice and l like the simplicity, but isnt it only leeching? I couldn’t find anything in settings that would enable seeding. If it is only leeching idk if I want to use it.

Sorry this feels like it should be obvious but I’m researching the best method to archive links mostly for personal use and potentially sending articles to my e-reader via Pocket which requires a URL.

hi all, i saw a post (or perhaps it was in the comments) about 1-2 weeks ago of a website to download any youtube/vimeo/instagram/tiktok/whatever video/audio in many different formats. it was a FOSS website. dark background, with maybe red text in places? on mobile, it had tabs on the bottom for video/audio/other....

I recently checked back on the PiratedGames subreddit after long while not being there. And I wonder what other people here think but in my opinion, the quality of the subreddit has gone downhill....

So I was looking into getting port forwarding set up and I realized just how closed-off the internet has gotten since the early days. It’s concerning. It used to be you would buy your own router and connect it to the internet, and that router would control port-forwarding and what-have-you....

I tried fre:ac but got an error from cddb when trying to connect to the database. Looking to rip to both FLAC and to Opus. Ideally with the latest codec updates....

Using public trackers it is extremely hard to find specific content with German audio....

None of the documentaries from GCN+, which is Global Cycling Network’s streaming app, are on my usual torrent sites. I’m not a cool warez kiddy with access to niche private trackers. Is it possible that there are no webrips out there? Do they watermark somehow?

My concern is viruses and I was curious if you could force an internal hdd/external hdd to ONLY connect to the virtual machine in vmware and make is so that it doesn’t connect to the host at all. I know that you can connect external drive to vmware but it will auto connect to the host if no vmware machine is running....

Does anyone have good site recommendations for lossless files such as flac’s specifically for music.
