Do you folks have any tips on how to get around magazine and newspaper paywalls? It seems like the old tricks are becoming less reliable and it’s frustrating - especially given paywalls seem to be becoming more stringent at the same time.

Since we are all pirates moving away from Reddit I was thinking if another r/Megalinks style community could be made on Lemmy and survive? (Or pehaps already exists?)...

who else thinks this is a good idea just wondering like i know their is parts on there for ai but they are just there its not been sorted properly for the megathread like i would love to see an AI section that is dedicated to the uncensored cracked or otherwise pirated AI stuff that would be pretty cool anyone else think this...

For too long imo, piracy had become a “grab it all” environment. The old “Caring is Sharing” mantra seems to have disappeared. So maybe, this Lemmy could revert back 20-30 years to become a real sharing community. IDK.

Two years ago I’ve tried my hand at cracking something, it’s quite an unknown game, Arena Wars was the name. I always found it fun to take it for a spin, try out a match or two, then forget about it for a couple months....

Edit: Solution is Zotify, use a burner account for this type of use (playing songs on speakers, quality is fine at 160kbps). It’s a bit hard to setup and use, but nothing major. SpotifyDown is the next best option Imo, cannot download full playlists but quality is good. (Not using audio from YouTube videos) Most other options...

Pretty self-explanatory but the idea is to combine the “share” logo with the crossbones. The message is peers 2 peers, from many to many, sharing is caring, but the deisgn still recalls the awesome pirate flag.

Acheivements are a big part of the experience for me, and just running them as an external program doesn’t give that option. Is there any chance of doing so? I’m sure I managed to get some pirated dlc to work like that once.
