I saw the source was Euronews and my first thought was, “I wish we could have this in America.” And what do you know? It is here! Not surprised that California is leading the way. I hope this develops more broadly over time. We desperately need a modern rail system.
Same over here in europe. The train system we have over here is anything but perfect. Every country or region still has different standards, requiring a change if wheels, connectors and other parts on the route of a long-distance train. This costs a lot of money too. Train tickets are soaring. Train routes are clogged. Short distance trains are partly being closed, shortened or showing their age. Despite an increase of flight ticket prices, people still find flying more compelling than travelling by train.
Still, night trains are somewhat having a little revival right now.
I really hope we can get some fresh new wind and new tech. It is time our Transport Tycoon enters the future era ;)
is that somehow going to get rid of the cult-like behavior that takes critical thinking and turns it to mush? (Google Cop Gans LAPD) Also, police recruitment around the nation is thankfully finally going down after 2020 and people understand that police = murder goon squad and if you actually want to do something to help people there is a plethora of other jobs that do what police are propagandized as. This is no different then when they send the army recruitment to low income schools in poor areas and promise them riches for their lives and mental health. If it seems like it's all you got, it's a good way to force people to do shit they wouldn't want to do. The other shit is great, just get the fucking cop crap out of it.
When it costs 17.000 instead of it being legalized for general use, you know it’s not for the good of the people.
One can only hold that this step allows for more research to prove benefits, and thereby create political pressure to legalize it and make it available at low cost.
My sister's mother-in-law actually takes Ketamine. She was diagnosed as clinically depressed to the point of being very suicidal. It seems to work for her.
