I imagine with the expected influx of new users on the 1st a lot of the questions that have been asked here will be asked again....

I’m trying to get my head wrapped around the identity (or purpose) of Kbin....

What are microblogs in kbin ? Can a microblog be posted in a profile? Or can a microblog be posted only in a magazine?

Note that this is not a request for review bombing, but rather a request for your opinion....

I received the confirmation email and when I ran the link, it just opens up the registration page of kbin.social. When I tried logging in, it said that the account is not active. Are new registrations closed?

I’d like a place where warranties aren’t a factor when discussing BIFL items. I don’t know if Reddit is just trying to be a dick or what, but as I started to delete some comments, I’m not able to see any comments in my profile “hasn’t commented on anything”, but if I visit actual posts where I’ve commented, I can clearly see my comments there....

When the whole Reddit fiasco started happening, I saw a lot of people wiping and deleting their Reddit accounts and moving elsewhere, like here on Lemmy....

I run a decent sized sub. I’ve noticed the last few days that all my sticky posts that say where else you can find us are getting mass reported. I usually have like 6 reports a week. I’m getting a report on every post made that gets the sticky all of a sudden. I just took the word “Lemmy” out and we’ll see if that...

I’ll start: I tried to move a bookshelf while drunk about 6 years ago and tore a tendon in my shoulder pretty damn good. It still bothers me sometimes if I move it wrong or sleep on it wrong.
