What is Something Scientific that you just don't believe in at all?

EDIT: Let’s cool it with the downvotes, dudes. We’re not out to cut funding to your black hole detection chamber or revoke the degrees of chiropractors just because a couple of us don’t believe in it, okay? Chill out, participate with the prompt and continue with having a nice day. I’m sure almost everybody has something...

211,

Because we’ve decided it’s nonethical for healthcare professionals. Any doctor knowingly prescribing placebo and lying about it could get in some major trouble. Like a couple decades ago I heard a psychiatrist mourn the loss of disulfiram (antabuse) implants from their treatment arsenal; it worked very well as a placebo but research didn’t show a clear improvement over placebo, so they could no longer use it.

I am kind of glad that non-license-needing wellness consultants can still use the placebo effect for good, even if it is sometimes predatory and sometimes outright dangerous.

All the chocolate is already down the toilet, or on my waistline.

(Western concert) flute. Playing, maintenance/repair, collecting, different mechanics and other deviations from the norm, history.

Tea. All teas camellia sinensis/taliensis, and different cultural habits around it. Teapot collecting addiction.

3D modeling and printing.

What is the least shit online store of the shitty ones? such as: Wish, AliExpress, etc..

What is the least shitty shit store? Never had a good experience with any of the shops such as, wish, aliexpress and the rest of em. But which one of them is considered the better one, or more likely to actually arrive with the correct item? Is etsy considered better than the rest? Are there any of these “low priced” stores...

211,

Also mostly using AliExpress, sometimes Ebay. AliExpress has good shops; check the other stuff they sell and the reviews to get an idea. Official company stores are great, but there are also fake company stores. And customer service on those rare occasions when it’s just that bad, sucks.

I got a decent CPAP machine for cheap on Wish, but otherwise the stuff just seems flimsier and more expensive.

211,

Instead of being guilt-ridden and terrified of making mistakes, especially if they might cause harm to others, I get… antisocial personality disorder? Fuck.

211,

How much my flute cost. (It’s from my fun money, and a bargain for what it is, but still.)

211,

Years ago the predecessor to Oscar didn’t support BMC devices, and doesn’t look like it’s changed. Yuwell isn’t listed either. Otherwise would be great. Maybe just don’t connect one of the more established ones?

211,

I thought it was data out only too, but at my sleep apnea orientation was told (and I double checked that they really meant it) that they could also tweak settings remotely. ResMed. Always possible that they had misunderstood something too, of course.

Arvo Pärt - Spiegel im Spiegel (full album) 47 min www.youtube.com/watch?v=U4RmJaP683A

My “fall asleep” list also includes

Arvo Pärt - Cantus in memoriam Benjamin Britten (8 min).

Philippe Gaubert - Madrigal (4 min).
www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xv-bcyezUpE
which would bring it to almost an hour.

Edit: Maybe Fauré - Pavane arranged for flute and piano (6 min) to tide it over.

211,

There are also 12 templar crosses. I did not find an anagram for “OREO” in Latin, nor is it “INRI” transposed directly in alphabet, but there might be something to force there. Both being four-letter words with same beginning and end and all.
