I didnt break anything, but there was this one time i was setting up a new lxc container i had just spun up. I installed nginx, and a bunch of other packages, started writing new config files… Then i noticed my prompt was user@desktop$ instead of user@server$
Whoops… I was in the wrong terminal window, typing commands into my desktop instead of the container i was setting up.
I’ve been reading nextcloud forums/reddit/lemmy/etc. for years now, and i feel like 90% of the problems are from people using docker or whatever easy one-click solution is out there
I’ve been running NC the old fashioned way for years now and i’ve never had problems of NC dying for no reason.
Have i had issues? Of course… Not not like the ones people keep coming here and shitting on NC
The only times i’ve had major issues and it was actually a problem with nextcloud, is buggy major version releases… So i never install a new major release until X.0.1 these days. Havent really had problems since
BT audio works like 99% of the time. Then there’s that 1% it just stops working for no apparent reason and you spend an hour googling why without finding any answers. And in the end, unpairing, forgetting the device and the re-adding it fixes the problem in 2 mins
