AFKBRBChocolate,

I don’t think I know the reference, but it sounds equivalent.

AFKBRBChocolate,

More admirable but not as funny

AFKBRBChocolate,

If you’re talking physical flash cards, you can just define your page (card) size in Excel. If your printer will do both sides on card stock, you could even do both in Excel.

AFKBRBChocolate,

Those logo bruises are a thing. Imagine how much worse these would be if the logo was bedazzled.

AFKBRBChocolate,

And I said it was nice looking food. Thought you might be interested about the use of the word. Was anything that I said argumentative? Feel free to ignore.

AFKBRBChocolate,

Yours has the same definition as mine, and even links to the same page, but then says:

However, according to food historian Sarah Wassberg Johnson, charcuterie also has its roots in the simple meals that had been eaten by laborers of the working class throughout Europe since the medieval period, often consisting of meats, cheeses, bread, local produce, and wine or beer.

That’s one I’ve never seen, and the citation is the opinion of a single person without reference. If you Google the definition, you’re going to mostly find that it’s prepared meats, with some places saying the definition has evolved to include other stuff.

AFKBRBChocolate,

Or seems like if you’re using a red curry paste like this one, you could add enough for a mild version, but let them add more for spicier.

AFKBRBChocolate,

It wasn’t as much the color as the shape I was commenting on. OP’s looks like a ball, but I’ve only seen them oblong (I’ve heard that “quat” means something like “pear shaped”).

AFKBRBChocolate,

My thought has always been that it’s not that things like that can’t work in dreams, but dreams are mostly symbolic and you’re more likely to dream about using a phone or something if you have an issue with what it symbolizes. For instance, I personally often dream about trying to call or text my wife, but either the phone doesn’t work, I can’t see the screen, she can’t hear me, or something like that. My guess is that the dream is about my frustration when I can’t communicate well with my wife.

I’ve also had dreams where I was stuck or trapped in something and couldn’t get my phone to work, couldn’t make my voice work to yell, or anything like that, and I figure that it’s because I have real issues asking anyone else for help.

AFKBRBChocolate,

That would need one of those flame things out the back

AFKBRBChocolate, (edited )

It wouldn’t be exactly the same, but you could consider making some soft boiled eggs, then shelling then and smooshing them on the McMuffin when you want to eat it. That way the egg stays in the shell and would have a longer shelf life, and you get that yummy, slightly runny yolk on the sandwich.

Note: you can reheat them by putting them in a glass of hot tap water for a few minutes.

AFKBRBChocolate,

No problem! Let us know how it turns out.

AFKBRBChocolate,

Like the other person said, you might try a plain breaded chicken one and pan fry them in a sauce of your choice. You might have better luck finding (or making) a sauce that comes close than finding a breaded chicken product that does.

AFKBRBChocolate,

Personally I would probably heat them normally but not too brown, then put the sauce in a skillet until it’s starting to bubble, turn the heat to medium-low (so as not to scotch the sauce) and add the chicken to it. Toss it around until it’s well coated and the chicken is fully done.

AFKBRBChocolate,
AFKBRBChocolate,

There’s a pretty big variety of Kentucky Bourbon sauces where BBQ sauce is, just start trying them.

AFKBRBChocolate,

If it really is just getting the lava down to boiling water temperature, or even a bit higher, that thin metal handle will dissipate that heat pretty quickly. A glove should be fine.

AFKBRBChocolate,

I left Reddit just ahead of the blackout, and I’ve only been returning for one small private sub that can’t effectively be moved. I figure, since it’s private, Reddit doesn’t get much credit for my activity there.

I’ve used Relay exclusively for many years, so I’ve been happy that it’s continued to work. It will be annoying if/when I have to use the browser to go to that sub.

AFKBRBChocolate,

I think their way was better. It lets the giant number of subscribers have fun and engage, while also screwing the Reddit execs. They'll eventually get bored and it will be the same result.

AFKBRBChocolate,

The problem with that is, someone else who doesn't care about the issues would take over as mod, and the sub would go on more of less normally. This way, it will eventually kill the sub without trying to delete it or take it private (both things Reddit can undo).
