The survey was absolute hell on mobile until I actually read the part where it says you can just double click. Made it so much easier. I personally chose the more intricate designs as my favorite and less intricate and more simplified designs as my least favorite. Detailed and intricate designs or nothing for me.
The closest I get to discovering new music through piracy is game music. Otherwise I absolutely agree with that sentiment. I certainly ain’t finding out about new bands/singers/whatever pretty much ever through piracy unless it’s in the game I’ve found.
A big problem is that there are hospitals and medical facilities using old versions of windows for reasons like the cost of upgrading all their computers or more importantly legacy software that they have to use just simply not working on more recent versions for various reasons. As much as having an up to date OS is important for safety, it’s just not feasible in some areas and it’s terrifying.
I quite a few animated shows from the past few years I like I either accidentally stumbled upon on piracy websites, through yt randomly recommending me them (before incognito mode was a thing in the app), or through other people talking about them.
I got VIM (possibly NeoVIM, I don’t recall) on a thumb drive a few weeks back for an assignment for one of my college courses because I can’t install anything on the college library computers and it threw me off because I had no experience with it before then. Thank goodness for the Internet knowing what to do because I had absolutely no idea how to do just about anything in it.
Well, if the Chinese webseries that got a Crunchyroll JP dub (All Saints Street) counts, looks like I’m living in a world of creatures like angels, demons, vampires, werewolves, zombies, mummies, etcetera, live alongside humans. I already know I’d be just a normal human going about his day.
If not, I’d be stuck in normal Japan in Detective Conan. No idea if I’d be a victim or just some random person or what. I’d hope I’m not a victim.
God, whenever I help my mom with something on her phone or get it for her, I always see she has tons and tons of notifications. I could never do that. She also has many apps open usually and that also is something I couldn’t do. I have more than maybe 4 notifications and 4 apps open at a time and it drives me insane.
When I’m on the go, I like to just chill with games like Fire Emblem Heroes on my phone (the parts that don’t require you to potentially pair up and play against sweats with no life who can make a lvl.1 3 star character nuke your lvl.40+10 5 star unit). Or if I’m not on a bus and am just in a car, I might just pull out my switch if I have it on me and do some raids in Pokemon Violet (offline since I don’t have the online pass).
If I’m at home on my desktop, I like to chill from time to time building rollercoasters (Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 Platinum) of either doom (mostly those) or ones could feasibly be made in the real world without healthy people dying while riding it. That, or do some casual peglin runs.
Okay, what happens if your repo doesn’t have a specific software you are looking for? A trusted repo is good, but it won’t have everything you might want. This is especially true for new software or less popular software.
Teleport. I could be running late to something important but in the blink of an eye be there right on time. Plus, absolutely no need for any form of transport when you can just teleport.
As great as Linux can be, using windows without the bloat or spyware is fine by me. Hell, using it with all that is fine just so long as the end user is happy.
