It’s just people saying it wrong, like “bone apple tea” instead of " bon appetit". It’s supposed to be “I couldn’t care less”. But I mean come on, these are the same people who searched for “Michael Jackson Billy’s Jeans” so often on YouTube that it became a recommended search term. Lol.
Hey, thanks for the recommendation. I had no idea a service like this existed. I’ve been frustrated with all of the search engines for years now. I just signed up. Hopefully it turns out to be rad.
I recently switched to Bing after years of disappointment from Google and months of disappointment from DDG. Bing is pretty disappointing too, but less so, so far. I tried to use the chat feature a couple of days ago, but it said I have to download the app. Nah… fuck these tech companies and their apps.
Yeah, the ants. Maybe they just followed a scent trail into your house and live far away. If that’s the case then it’ll be easy. A couple of addresses ago we had a fire ant colony living under our foundation. Nothing we did got rid of them. Even powerful poisons that they take back to the colony only worked for a week or two until the next round hatched and they were right back. It sucked! Best of luck! Hopefully they live far away.
I had to sit through a poorly made documentary at church as a kid about how Star Wars was evil. Star Wars, which Lucas made to be as generic good vs evil as possible, was labeled as evil by my church. I can pinpoint that as one of the moments in childhood where I started becoming critical of the views of my church, and questioning the things they were telling me. Another key moment was when they had a young man go up to the podium and give his testimony. He talked all about how he was living a life of partying, rock-and-roll, and sex, and then found his way back to the church. I vividly remember thinking “well if that’s an option, that’s the road I’ll take too! Sounds like fun!”. My church did a lot of things like that which had the opposite effect they intended.
