Anticorp,

I liked XP in its own era, it’s not just nostalgia. Although computers and the Internet in general were very exciting to me back then.

Anticorp,

I feel like making important changes was easiest with XP. It feels like they’re trying to obscure administrative functions behind layers of abstraction.

Anticorp,

“Please watch this advertising video that is relevant to what you were discussing with your wife in the other room this morning before your browser can be launched.”

Anticorp,

You can install it on a new-ass PC and it’ll be lightning fast!

Anticorp,

Welcome to the Ministry of Silly Walks.

Anticorp,

I forgot all about that game! I loved being benevolent and then smashing everything to pieces.

Anticorp,

Why are the settings for a single device spread across multiple sections of the OS though?

Anticorp,

Oh everyone I know would love to date that. They just wouldn’t love the time and commitment required to build and maintain that.

Anticorp,

Also allow scrolls in a backpack to be accessible in the context menu.

Anticorp,

Don’t tie all the best items to characters that you might kill or not save in a durge playthrough.

Anticorp,

You and I have vastly different interpretations of the word “party”…

Anticorp,

What bothers me even more is that for a lot of these subjects they’re keen to tear it down, but don’t have anything to replace it. People are creatures of order, and patterns. We can’t operate effectively as a society without structure, and mutual understanding.

Anticorp,

No way! Ceramic Le Creuset mug, sitting at my kitchen table, waiting for my brain to activate for the day.

Anticorp,

TikTok is probably the most effective marketing platform in decades. Probably this generation’s equivalent of G.I. Joe and Transformer commercials cartoons.

Anticorp,

Is that because it’s made by Stanley instead of Thermos?

Anticorp,

Frodo was the best of them, but he was carrying a great burden, so we saw him during an internal fight for his very soul, not as his usual self. Frodo was chosen to carry the ring because his pure and generous heart was the least influenced by its power, and it still almost consumed him.

Anticorp,

Playing Baldur’s Gate and D&D made this a little confusing, since 350 HP in either game is boss tier.

Cant unequip mainhand weapon.

It’s the Knife of the Undermountain King, if that is relevant. I’m not a druid, so I don’t think it has anything to do with wild shape. I have had Jahiera in my party a few times. I did get disarmed once about 20 hours ago, so it might be related to that. Anyways, I cannot unequip, disarm, throw, or drop that knife. I’ve...

Anticorp,

Yeah, he stopped asking for enchanted items really early in act 1, and I’m in act 3 now. Thanks for the idea though.

Anticorp,

I might try killing him tonight to see if that works. I found the gloves of hill giant strength, so I want to switch to strength based weapons, but I’m stuck with these finesse weapons.

Anticorp,

I haven’t tried that, but I know disarm does not work. I’ll give that a try tonight. Thanks for the idea!

Anticorp,

My character is not cursed. Is there a way that the weapon would have somehow become cursed separate from my character?

Anticorp,

And what it all comes down to

Is that everything’s gonna be average, average, average

Anticorp,

Average and average.
