Blaze, to cooking in We're thinking about merging some of the cooking/food communities, want to get your input
@Blaze@discuss.tchncs.de avatar

Merge into !food and define thresholds when you will reopen niche communities

No ideas either. I remember you were quite active in the previous community, feel free to comment in the new one so I can appoint as a mod if you are interested

Blaze, to asklemmy in So how much "bad" debt are you in?
@Blaze@discuss.tchncs.de avatar

Small promotion for !personalfinance, the community is usually quite helpful

Blaze, to asklemmy in Why is lemmy so bad at determining trending communities?
@Blaze@discuss.tchncs.de avatar

I usually use !trendingcommunities , much more reliable

From lestat.org, it seems down indeed.

If the owner didn’t let any contact info, we’ll probably never know. Sorry for the loss of your account

Blaze, to asklemmy in Does lemmy have videos now?
@Blaze@discuss.tchncs.de avatar

catbox.moe is my usual choice

It’s an alternative front end

Blaze, to privacyguides in Let's decentralize the web together.

Currently, they have 13k monthly active users while Lemmy has 37, so not too bad

Blaze, to lemmy_support in Community mod on this instance made a mistake, can't find any form to get it corrected
@Blaze@discuss.tchncs.de avatar

What did you say? Lemmy.ml is known to be quite biased towards China’s regime

Blaze, to newcommunities in Reviving !comics@lemmy.ml
@Blaze@discuss.tchncs.de avatar

There’s always a risk, but if that happens I guess we’ll have bigger fish to fry than the comics community

On the other hand, it currently already has 4 thousands subs, definitely easier to revive it than starting another one from scratch

Communick.news seems to be at 99,79%, is it that bad?

lestat.org

On that website, lemmy.ml is 99,93

IIRC, the lemmy.ml admins paid for the domain name. I saw a comment from them a while back
