You don’t have to watch every damn thing involving your fandom. It’s pure capitalistic greed at this point.

Let a franchise fucking die already.

Demand better movies and don’t engage with film as product. Find passionate storytellers and not greedy corporate executives looking to milk every last drop of nostalgia for profits.

Useful to you? No.

Useful to make a profile on you, to then sell you to other companies for advertising revenue. Definitely useful.

It’s not that they want to look at what you do or take YOUR money. This is an entire market created around spying on people and selling them to advertisers. Just because your info is dull doesn’t mean it’s not marketable.

That’s more than enough to start bids on the ad spaces that you encounter. They also have a lot more information about you than just that.

The data they have now is helping them already. Not on some future date.

Yes cause new ideas are risky and scary to the executives. Oh no, a new concept might not rake in buckets of nostalgia money. Can’t risk people not liking something new, let’s regurgitate every possible franchise and property in the pursuit of unending growth of the box office revenue.

I buy and play games, I don’t pay for a subscription where a massive corporation gets the bulk of the money while the developers get squat.

Destiny is not an important game. It’s one game as a service designed to be as grindy as possible.

I’ll be fine with Linux.

So this ship doesn’t want to go to port so to remain as hidden as possible. I’m imagining smaller vessels would deliver supplies to the ship along its route. So any laws won’t be really an issue if no countries know about the ship.
