I find it funny that besides intellect, us humans possess the greatest power, which is petting. Petting allows us to be friends with most animals that would otherwise kill us
As someone who lives at a city of casinos, I can tell y’all that I have no love for them. It’s quite the depressing scene inside a casino believe it or not. People spend all of their pay checks and pension gambling while breathing in cigarette smoke
For those who are wondering if this picture is real or not, I couldn’t say. But I have seen a fair share of misspellings and bad grammar written on trucks about similar sentiments in Nevada (seeing where the license in the picture belongs to). The take away of this is that usually there is a correlation between education and conspiracies (believing in misinformation), and it’s a very real, serious issue in this country.
Fandom is like a coin. A coin that has a shiny surface on one side and a dirty, rusty, smelly layer on the other. Some fans can have the passion and diligence to elevate the media while being respectful, while a lot of fans can be just down right hateful because it’s easier to do so while contributing to nothing
If I could freeze time, I would honestly use it to just have as much time to do nothing as I wanted without missing out on real time events. I wouldn’t even use it for anything else
I’ve eaten rice all my life and was taught to wash rice before cooking it. I’ve seen and eaten the starchiness that happens when not washing it and the difference is very noticeable. Rice was very gooey and starchy when not washed, versus a nice firm and chewy rice you would get from a restaurant when you do wash. Also washing it can clean out any bugs or dirt. It just made sense imo
I remember the reaction that I had when I watched this scene in the theater. I was awestruck and confused. The whole scene perfectly described the tone it had for me for the rest of the movie, a fever dream.
My thought is that it helps the audience know what exactly they’re doing. Not saying it’s necessary because I think a good visual indication will let the audience know, but I think that’s what they were maybe going for.
