I actually enjoy Chrome’s personalization. Their new tab list of articles consistently has multiple articles that are extremely relevant to me. I bought my laptop from a Chrome recommendation when I was actively following r/laptopdeals and several other deal trackers. I use the Google Maps Timeline feature a lot. For me, I think there is a balance between using invasive services for my advantage and assuring that I can be truly private when necessary, i.e. Tor, Signal, burner phone, etc.
I also really enjoy the Google suite of office tools.
