DerisionConsulting,

Well, that level makes sense for the fights.

I’m on my first honour play though, just hit level 11, and my party is the same as yours, but swapping the person who is stupid and mean for the second person you mentioned.

It might be a matter of changing battlefield positioning, or focusing on “action economy” if you’re not already. Unless you are doing an AoE, someone with concentration needs to be interrupted, or there is an odd mechanic, it’s best to kill enemies one by one. That means one less person is attacking you each round, and this advantage grows each person you kill off.

DerisionConsulting,

Those three fights are the “big ones” in act 1, probably as hard as the goblin camp, what level were you when you did them?

The easiest difficulty make combat a faceroll (which is a great way to experience the story, if that’s your primary goal); balanced makes you care about what level you are for the encounter, positioning, and your party make-up; Honour makes you think about terrain, party make-up, item use, damage types, and resource management.

Your ranged characters shouldn’t be close enough together that they can be hit with an AoE, and ideally, they are somewhere that gives advantage.

:::spoiler Party make up Shadowheart is mean and stupid, and she’s also easily replaced as long as anyone else in the part has “Guidance”. :::

DerisionConsulting,

If you’ve ever worked a job where you stand in the same place for 8+ hours, you know that it can also be rough on the body. The current advice that I see floating around is to change your position at least every hour.

If you want to be healthier, do the physical exercise that your body can do. Walk instead of drive, and take the stairs instead of the elevator.

DerisionConsulting,

I have fucked a couple dads in my time, so I did my part!

DerisionConsulting,

They look pretty sweet and they generally aren’t near populated areas

DerisionConsulting,

They are spam bots that should be blocked instantly.

DerisionConsulting,

a lemmy post of a reddit post of a screengrab of a tweet.

DerisionConsulting,

Please let the devs know!

DerisionConsulting,

The absolute bare minimum is to show text as it was written. Most of the apps don’t even deal with formatting post correctly, so I am happy to stick with a browser.

If your app of choice does not display the following correctly, let the devs know via a bug report

Bold = Bold v. normal.
Italic = Italic v. normal.
Superscript = ^SuperScript^ v. normal.
Subscript = Subscript v. normal.
Strike-through = Strike-through v. normal.

DerisionConsulting,

Sorry, you are right about the reds. But there is a black line between the red and white stripes, and there is yellow and green in the rainbow.

I’m not sure what the correct number of colours would be, but 11 is probably too many.

But your flag doesn’t have any words on it, which is a vast improvement over the current California flag.

DerisionConsulting, (edited )

The first thing that sticks out to me, is that there are too many colours.
Red 1 (stripe/Star)
Red 2 (bridge)
Orange
Yellow Green (stripe)
Green (bridge)
Blue
Purple
Brown
White
Black

Edit- there was one less red than I thought.

You’re missing a key part to the story, Saul (no, not that Saul/Paul) was buying selling a human woman with those foreskins.
And who was the person who wanted traded these foreskins in exchange for the human woman? David, as in, David and Goliath.

Edit: swapped the vendor/purchaser. I left the religion about 20 years ago, so I should probably fact-check myself before posting.

DerisionConsulting,

Thanks for the correction. I left the religion about 20 years ago, so I should probably fact-check myself before posting about it. Memories are not perfect.

DerisionConsulting,

I don’t think that attract men are rarer, societally it just seems like we’re being judged on different scales. Something I’ve noticed, although only anecdotally:

If you get a group of people attracted to women to describe what an attractive woman is, you’ll get a fairly similar answer.
This makes it easier to know where you stand, and also easier to become “more attractive” easier, because there is a fairly consistant goal to be achieved.

If you ask a group of people attracted to men to describe what an attractive man is, you’ll generally get a few different archetypes.
A guy with a beard will get an instant 0 from some people, but it’s a positive for others.
A guy with abs will get an instant 0 from some people, but it’s a positive for others.
A guy with little/no hair will get an instant 0 from some people, but it’s a positive for others.

DerisionConsulting,

I’m not an app person, but it seems like none of the Lemmy aps are up to snuff.

Does the ap you use handle Subscript and strike-through correctly, or does it cross them both out?

Is this supposed to link to an article?

Edit: I am assuming it was supposed to link to www.usatoday.com/story/news/…/71815263007/

DerisionConsulting,

Looks like the people are downvoting you are just being assholes.

I also touched EA or Origin since for almost 20 years, and the only racing games I like are things like Wipeout. So it looks like the games you enjoy aren’t titles that either of us play. I was hoping to see a game or two in your list that I either myself or my husband knew a workaround for, and could attest that it works.

I know that some people have had luck opening Origin games through Steam in order to use Proton, my husband has done that for some Assassin’s Creed games. Here is someone showing the steps for Need for Speed The Run:
toptensoftware.com/…/running-ea-origin-games-unde…

I also completely understand just wanting to come home and play the games you want to play without any tinkering. Use whatever OS lets you do what you want to do on your system. There’s a reason I run Mint now instead of something more cutting edge.

DerisionConsulting,

I have installed Ubuntu, Pop!, or Mint as a fix for wifi issues on laptops probably about a dozen times over the past 20ish years.

I have never had a wifi issue with linux. My husband has had issues with Linux and wifi in 2007. But that was 2007.

DerisionConsulting,

What does being from the Netherlands have to do with shopping at Walmart?

DerisionConsulting,

most Vulcans are a bunch of lying emotional sluts

Vulcans = twinks in their early 20s?

DerisionConsulting, (edited )

In Canada yellow means stop, unless it’s too late to stop then you need to get through the intersection during the grace period before it turns red.

Does it mean something else in the USA?

DerisionConsulting,

I haven’t really heard anything about her since gamergate, and the anti-SJW/feminist days in the 2010’s. I have seen her pop up twice in a week, both times in places where anti-SJW beliefs would not be welcome.

Are her views/take fairly shallow and easily swayed, has she matured as a person and changed her politics, or is she just an online creator following where the trends are for views?

DerisionConsulting,
