Once you know, it is easy. But this random popup with 0 explanation, besides an arrow, is not intuitive at all. In general I like my MacBook Air but I hate MacOS and if it wasn’t apple silicon itd be running linux. Once Asahi or something similar deals with growing pains, it will 100% be doing so.
Interpret improvements as you like. For me it's any large scale reforms or legislative packages designed to improve the country for all or see to the material interests of the majority without overly benefiting the elite....
Not that you are wrong about the rest of your comment, but not only type 1 diabetics need insulin, type 2 diabetics often become insulin dependent too, especially with poor adherance to interventions (bad diet, no excercise).
At 80 I would urge you to consider wired again or save up. Otherwise I would look for the cheapest amazon / ali headset you can find a decent review online (off amazon) for.
EDIT: Let’s cool it with the downvotes, dudes. Look, as long as you don’t hover-squat or use other techniqies that make it more dirty, you can autoclave the toilet before using it for all I care, so long as that means you actually sit down. I hate seeing poop stains on the rim. That said I will usually sit down without a buffer.
Yes, the barrier for entry is so low. You can even run barefoot if you are so inclined (I do experiment with this). Granted climbing can become expensive-ish if you want to do regular climbing. But bouldering is very cheap to get into.
Plus there is something so primal about running and climbing. Like these are the things we are supposed to be good at, it is how we are meant to move in some sense. It feels so empowering to know you can run for X time/distance or that you can climb a wall this hard…
Would love to know what you guys think and your reasoning for it. I’m starting to see a lot of Apple Watches/Fitbits/Galaxy Watches in my area compared to more traditional timepieces.
That is a solution, there are multiple other solutions all equally or more likely that don’t involve murderous aliens.
One just as out there would be a sort of galactic zoo - there is simply an agreement not to interact with intelligent life before they reach a certain step, say establish global unity or develop a certain tech.
It could be that we are in fact a statistical outlier or are simply wrong in our probability calculations.
It could be that intelligence develops but spacefaring is rare. It could be that intelligent life simply has a tendency to collapse before it gets there. It is certainly still possible for us and it is not like we are making super meaningful progress towards space colonisation.
It could be that there are not great viable interstellar travel options, almost every option we have thought of that makes sense time wise has big ifs attached to it assuming we have a good idea of physics. Of those probably relativistic travel is the most likely and even then it would take quite a decent chunk of time to span the galaxy, going to war on those timescales is basically non-sensical.
I expect that any civilisation capable of cooperating at scale to achieve meaningful interstellar travel would also be developed enough in ethics to most likely not pose a danger to us.
A civilisation capable of waging war like that is probably around a K2 civ and the idea that a single planet somehow threatens them is also silly. Even a fully K1 civ to them would be close to a stadium packed full on earth in terms of relative size.
I am in an intense love-hate relationship with Spotify. It makes good mixes for me, I have found a lot of great bands that way. BUT IT KEEPS REGURGITATING THE SAME SONGS IN THERE. I know about Song Radios and Artist Radios, so please don’t recommend those. Smart Shuttle doesn’t cut it, either....
Interesting, but I doubt this was an nvidia + wayland problem, or if it was, it had been since fixed. My first DE was KDE and I used the regular nvidia driver with it, for sure did not notice anything wrong with right click menus.
Can anybody who has actually used Nvidia with wayland in the last 6 months tell me what problems you have? As a recreational PC user I have noticed 0 issues with my setup:
Ryzen 3600
Nvidia GTX 1660
Arch
Nvidia-open driver
Gnome / KDE / Hyprland (currently Gnome) running on wayland
I came from Windows 2-3 months ago, my daily usage has been more or less unaffected, especially when it comes to something I could pin to specifically nvidia + wayland.
All the above just makes it seem like nvidia + wayland bad is just a circlejerk.

What koolaid are you sipping? Woo-woo, even in the dictionaries is supposed to refer to sci-fi / ghost sounds. Give me one decent quote to say woo-woo is racist.
Idk about that attitude though, maybe I am lucky but I have been just a few steps above homelessness before and I still don’t consider life particularly hard, in fact for the most part I would call it fairly easy.
Votekick really doesn’t work as an anticheat, especially without good playback analysis option and even then good gamesense looks like wallhacking in shooters to new players for example when all you are doing is tracking sound and have good crosshair placement. If you can’t review replay and there is no blatant cheating like speedhack or spinbot or teleporting, what are you voting on? The fact that you are getting stomped?
To be clear I’m not saying invasive anti-cheat is the way, but IMO voting is not the way to go.
