Continuous operation of a general purpose relay?

Hello, I have a circuit that will need to return connected hardware to a default state if power is lost. The hardware can handle continuous voltage, so I’m thinking a simple solution would be to use a battery to provide that fallback power source. Find a latching relay. I built something similar where I had a battery powered circuit that needed to be on for a long time. This is different than making a latching relay from a normal relay. A latching type relay uses a pulse. You send a short pulse down the line and it flops over. The datasheet will tell you the pulse width.

I remember my brother and I having to set it to 1x speed and leave the room and pray the software didn’t hang. No one was allowed to use the computer for anything while it was burning a disc. Lol. So much anticipation!

I like Bitwarden. It’s open source. The Firefox plugin and Android app work great. Also free.

I always do that if I’m on the phone and the stupid bot is being unhelpful. And especially if my call might be monitored. “No you stupid fucking bot that didn’t work. I want to talk to a human” “Fuck you. Get me a person to talk to”. etc. It’s the fastest way
