I’m in exactly the same boat as you. Undereducated, lower paying job than my wife, mortgage, etc. I’ve frequently had panicked thoughts about what I would do if she died. And we have a kid, which makes it even worse.

“Ms. Extra” spends her own time and money entertaining people while thumbing her nose at those corporate slugs. I think people who make other people happy are probably not throwing a tantrum.
I think it’s really interesting too, but he was my grandfather, so I’m biased. I wasn’t really sure how interesting drawings of screw threads and gauges and calipers and such would be to other people.

As a not bot and totally definitely human person, I do not have any moral or physical ailments which result in my emotional reaction of upsetness when being confronted with the idea that 47% of internet traffic is bots. My homo sapiens brain does not contain conflict on this issue.
This should be the default everywhere. Unbelievable that it isn’t really. Amazing that they expect people to do a job where you have to hear real life, real time horror stories every day for hours a day and just cope.
I find several things on that list quite stressful. In fact, I don’t know why anyone would think booking a holiday was the part that made you feel good.
