I don’t have a “family” in a common sense of understanding like parents, wife, kids and stuff, but I have a girlfriend of 7 years living together and that’s pretty much it. Gonna be rather simple as we don’t generally bind giving presents to certain dates, and we usually discuss specifics prior so nobody gets something one doesn’t need or want.
I offered her a catalogue of some interesting jewelry and cool watch but she is kinda reluctant, “doesn’t look too practical” to her. So we just agreed that she’s gonna look into some new mobile phone in January whenever something interesting is out, and if she likes it (she likes doing random photography so a good phone camera is a good idea), I’m gonna buy it for her. That’s why I love her - straight to the point and considers usefulness in daily routines.
Yeah, I don’t usually visit shops specifically for that. In fact even if I do visit a store that has those items, I usually forget that’s even a thing I have to worry about. Dunno, it’s just never on my list for some reason.
I am super sick right now and haven’t eaten much in a few days. It’s getting to the point where I am gonna need to force myself to eat something to keep my strength up but everything just sounds terrible to me right now. I have been subsisting mostly on small glasses of milk and the occasional packet of instant oatmeal....
In the last couple of months I have noticed an increasing trend of supplying me search results that are completely unrelated to the current query and tie back to my location or previous searches. I can say this with a high degree of certainty this is without a doubt beyond the 100th instance this has happened....
Thanks for mentioning Kagi! I’ve been looking for some Google/DDG replacement but every single one I’ve tried had some sort of dealbreaking drawback for me. Google collects all my data and heavily filters my results, DDG provides dogshit results most of the time I don’t even bother using it, Startpage is awfully slow, and I didn’t even get to understand what Searx is as looking for it led me to some random ugly pages.
Subbed for 1 year 10 bucks plan. Works super-fast on mobile too. Hell yeah!
Just went down the aliexpress rabbit hole again. Theres really everythinf for some of really niche things that i wouldnt ever buy, but some things really do look appealing. I wonder what do you guys use daily thats worth lets say under $20
What I meant is a gaming chair with some good metal base construction. I currently use DxRacer Iron series and it’s by far superior to all alternatives I’ve used.

Share your gift ideas, because I am a bit stumped.
What do you want for Christmas?
I’m thinking of gifting myself a Nintendo Switch and getting my Sister a Kindle.
Do you disable notifications for all your apps?

What's a button you hate tapping or clicking accidentally?
For me, it’s “Clear Storage”. Sometimes I try to clear the cache of some mobile game I’m playing and end up deleting all my progress instead.
What is your ringtone?
I feel like changing my ringtone....
