What is Something Scientific that you just don't believe in at all?

EDIT: Let’s cool it with the downvotes, dudes. We’re not out to cut funding to your black hole detection chamber or revoke the degrees of chiropractors just because a couple of us don’t believe in it, okay? Chill out, participate with the prompt and continue with having a nice day. I’m sure almost everybody has something...

HonoraryMancunian,

Haha, if fucking mammoths were scared of falcons then they deserved to go extinct

How Many Streaming Services Do You Have?

I remember when it was just Hulu for $5 and Netflix for $8. Saved $50 a month from cable. Now it seems we spend more. I have four. Max, Peacock, Paramount and Hulu. Prime doesn’t count because it sucks balls. (Only paying Netflix when next Stranger Things and Squid Game is released). Curious to see what the average...

HonoraryMancunian, (edited )

Same. I’m just not a TV watcher. YouTube’s enough for me.

Edit: ahh I forgot about Spotify. So one.

HonoraryMancunian,

Good shout. Most of the cycles do their best to get rid of excess moisture

HonoraryMancunian,

Our washer does this too though

HonoraryMancunian,

I think the moral of the story is don’t fall for clickbait

HonoraryMancunian,

That last one’s actually a myth

Moss doesn’t exist

HonoraryMancunian,

Fun fact! Acid tastes sour because that’s what sour is

HonoraryMancunian,

And the dude on the left is just so clean shaven. Honestly I can’t believe everyone’s falling for this

HonoraryMancunian,

Why it has up votes blows my mind.

Because it’s funny? Honestly why your comment is so highly upvoted is blowing my mind, although I mean you no ill-will by that.

HonoraryMancunian,

Lol @ the photoshopped (or MSPainted) red eyes and teeth

What are some productive things to do when you wake up in the middle of the night and can't get back to sleep for a few hours?

I’m looking for suggestions that zombie-me could follow through with. The problem is I can barely bring myself to get out of bed, let alone do a useful task. It just wastes typically 2–5 hours of my life as I wait for tiredness to finally (re)take hold.

HonoraryMancunian,

I legit thought it was an orcas-are-technically-dolphins joke that I didn’t quite get

HonoraryMancunian,

She’s doing the Salmon Dance!

Put your hands to the side, as silly as it seems,

And shake your body like a salmon floatin’ up stream!

HonoraryMancunian,

(Grunting sound)

HonoraryMancunian,

This is quite cute, considering Hobbes is a figment of Calvin’s imagination

HonoraryMancunian,

Had to look up when it was set, because I assumed the 50s or 60s

The pastel colors, house furnishings, women’s fashions and hairstyles, pill hats, starburst wall clocks and pastel-colored rotary dial telephones are all reminiscent of the early 1960s. However, the VCRs and aerobics classes came to be in the 1980s or thereabout. So there is no real time when the movie “took place.”
