Im an obsessive masker now. Its not covid per se its just that by 2022 I realized I had not been sick since 2019 and prior to that I had something on average once a year (I was actually overdue for something when the lockdowns hit) and it was not uncommon to be sick even twice a year. Its 2023 now and I am still on the streak and im convinced its because of masking. I don't know how long I can keep the streak but imma gonna try.

Im not wild about this because to often I see folks use something like it to imply something we face now is no big deal due to a false analogy. Like covid with spanish flu. I.E. - I don't need to mask or vaccinate because we got through the spanish flu. Not taking into account its not as bad because of vaccines but without them it is actually a worse disease and that pictures clearly show folks used masks for the spanish flu. Its not just that but with climate change implying it just seems like the end like the cold war but they are completely different issues with different possibilities for solutions.

Oh I find this one to be bs. There are incredible things in this world that could have been meh or horrible and that changes the meaning in both quality and quantity. For example when lincoln made the continued subjugation proclamation.

Be honest, do you still use reddit?

I used to check the front page at least once every day, and occassionally check specific subreddits. Now I don’t look at reddit unless theres some drama, like mods getting purged, then I’d go there and enjoy the drama. Occasionally there will be questions that only reddit has the answer to so I have to reluctantly use it. I...

Im not sure about my first one but I had a re-occuring nightmare where home invaders came and I would run and I guess they where after me because they ran after. I would be alone or with different family members. I swear having eye crustys increased my chance of nightmares as a kid.

Ive been saying this for a long time. Families were being raised on 40 hour a week income and then one day it was like over 100 since so many folks were easily averaging 50 hour weeks.

Problem is the true benefits will be seen if we convert all cash assitance to a citizens income. No one losing out because they can't navigate the beuracracy and only a minimal staff is needed for issues with no "work" being done to determine if they are eligible.

Cybersecurity employee training that includes chatbots? I know, I know. I should ask this in technology or something but what im really looking for is more business related. Im looking for those duh, duh, kind of employee training but updated with the dangers of chatbots. Things like don't paste in private or confidential data, don't trust its answers are right, ask questions generally and move down to specifics, etc. etc. And yes I did ask a chatbot for the answer.
