I wish I could wear something like that, but it’d make me feel pretentious. Not that I think people wearing them look or come off as pretentious, but for me it’d feel that way. I couldn’t pull it off anyway since my daily attire is a hoodie and jeans/joggers.
The great thing about Linux DEs is that it doesn’t matter if it’s conventionally bad, it matters that it works for you. You could use the cubic alt tab animation and control your computer through seances for all anyone cares. As long as you can do what you want just send it and use what’s best for you.
I’d highly recommend trying Vietnamese coffee. I’m the same way in that any coffee will do, but it’s become my latest vice. It’s a great middle ground between espresso (which I find a bit too strong) and drip/pour over coffee (which I like, but I prefer something a bit stronger). It’s made with slightly compressed grounds in a phin (Vietnamese coffee filter) and is basically just a slower pour over that you mix with a tablespoon of sweetened condensed milk.
It’s a very interesting flavor and tends to be much easier on your stomach because of the lower volume of coffee.
Fair enough, but as someone who has worked closely with the Decky Loader maintainers and contributed my own stand alone plugin I get it. We basically all have day jobs as devs and it can be mentally taxing to do more PRs at home. Not to mention sometimes there’s just not enough time in the day, and I don’t even have kids.
Maintainers are ultimately volunteers doing work with hundreds of dollars an hour for free. I’ve had some PRs take 20+ days to be looked at, it’s just how it goes.
Short term credit balances like appliances paid off over 3 months don’t affect your credit for very long. As soon as they are paid off and the balance falls off your credit report your score will rebound. It’s not worth stressing about.
I’m usually excellent at finding shit like this and I got nothing in half an hour. I’m high as fuck rn tho so I’ll be trying again tomorrow because I’m officially invested. If I do by some miracle find it (I’m pretty convincing I won’t) send the money to a FOSS project of your choice, or your favorite Lemmy instance.
Not at my computer so I can’t double check, but I believe you can replace the outer double quotes with single quotes. I’d also remove the spaces before and after the equal sign for the alias. I don’t know about fish but I know bash doesn’t like when you add spaces there.
When you are holding the magnet in front of the car you are pulling the car along through the magnetic attraction between the magnets, and the car is pulling the magnet back towards itself with equal force. However, you can just pull the magnet away as the car gets closer. When you do so you are transferring the force the car is imparting on you into the ground you are standing on.
If you were to now get on top of the car and hold the magnet in front of it the magnet you are holding would be pulled towards the car, and the car towards it. However, since you are on top of the car, instead of the force the car is imparting on you going into the ground (allowing you to keep moving the magnet away from the car) it would go back into the car. This force going back into the car is identical to the force the magnet you are holding is imparting on the car. As such they cancel each other out and the car does not move.
If you repeat the above, but replace the magnet with a rope, it’s a lot more clear why it doesn’t work. You can’t pull on a rope while sitting on a car and expect the car to move. The magnetic force is the rope, and you pulling on the magnet is the same as pulling on the rope.
I was gonna say SF, but now that I think about it the burger places there tend to be a bit more quaint and definitely don’t have the live laugh love shit everywhere. At least I’ve never seen one, but it’s a big fucking city so there’s almost definitely at least one.
They also make your feet absolutely ripped. I bought a pair from Vivo Barefoot a year and a half ago and they took about a month to not be tiring to walk in. I felt muscles in my feet I didn’t know existed, and now my feet are the most vascular part of my body and look like I do some crazy for specific exercise. I can’t wear normal shoes anymore because my toes feel cramped, not being able to feel the ground feels weird, and I feel like I’m gonna slip way more because I can’t “grip” the ground with my foot.
My back doesn’t hurt from walking anymore. Highly recommend, but you gotta give yourself a month to get used to them. Many barefoot shoe stores do 90 day returns no questions asked to give you time to adjust.
