Krauerking,

See now that just makes me think of a magical scam school that claims to teach levitation but just instead teaches people how to grab cutlery with mage hand so they can get Fork Lift Certification.

Krauerking,

Supposedly according to the reading material on the flash cart, yes? It seems like you just need the game file on the SD card and to put it in however cycling through multiple games on the cart is gonna be bad cause it looks like their isn’t a loader in-between but you need to eject the card and put it back in to cycle to the next game you have on it.

Krauerking,

Nah, just don’t have 500gb sd card with 30 games on it and it should be pretty awesome

Krauerking,

Oh my God fuck cinnamon rolls and I love them. If any recipe involves a suggestion for getting unscented non waxed floss just to cut the shapes something is wrong with the level of effort they expect from me.

Krauerking,

I just remind myself that I once thought it was a good idea to make an entire thanksgiving dinner for 3 people using a college dorm kitchen, and then the idea of frying a cheese sandwich doesn’t seem that daunting.

Tip though for grilled cheese is butter the pan not the bread.

Krauerking,

Honestly, you could probably make loaded hash browns and just make them slightly smaller and it would be pretty awesome. But I do agree that I’m not a big fan of the soak time for potatoes and getting them to bond and cook right.

Krauerking,

Because you don’t have to do it twice a day. We live in a society of people with lots of skills so having others that handle the cooking and you handle some other important beneficial task would be fine.

And then to fill space between wanting to eat what everyone else is having, using preserved or easy to eat items at home would fill the gap. That would be a rational society though. But we all need to be individually independent.

Krauerking, (edited )

Thank you for the recommendation. Well maybe I will try that for the New Year. Make it my resolution to make cinnamon rolls at least once.

Krauerking,

Seriously it’s the perfect way to do it. You know your pan is hot enough. The butter is nicely browned. I do find a small pan is the right way to keep a good layer but if you have a slightly larger pan using a spatula to keep the butter contained to one space and then put in the grilled cheese while the butter’s still a little solid works too. It’s probably been more than a decade since I last buttered the bread not the pan and I’m not even 30 it’s just the best way.

Krauerking,

I love it. You need someone who is gonna be ok with being the butt of an ugly joke and being in on it is better than not. So the kid put on a wig and makes the silliest face he can for a one off and they get to brag they are in the movie in silly way and no one is hurt by it.

Or would you prefer they go to the union for ugly actors?

Krauerking,

I worked very briefly for a company that was hirable to push websites for SEO. It was basically all young underpaid contractors and interns even the HR team except for upper management who was all the same people from their previous big company running telemarketing bullshit.

So yeah just want to add the usual suspects definitely had a hand in the enshitification of the search engine as you might think.

Krauerking,

Oh goodie. If I want made up answers based on the middle of the road guess work of an auto complete that sounds like a fun idea but I’d really just like to find out if anyone is selling the used record I’m looking for.

Krauerking,

Christ dude so many people are gonna end up looking this up and have to bleach their brains because of this.

LOL

Krauerking,

Then you are measuring something with matter still and it then affects it. Literally causing interactions to measure means altering it’s state even at a nonchalant glance.

Krauerking,

Right but how do you measure the things around what you are trying to measure and get any data from it unless you expect them to also interact with the things you are measuring.

You have to have an interaction to measure even if you are measuring the outcome and steps away from the original interaction.

It’s like measuring dark matter where the easiest way to prove it’s existence was to wait and capture the decay of it but not the particle itself. But that means the particle was already gone when we got the measurements to prove it was there.

Krauerking,

Guys, calm down. It’s just the trolley problem and she decided to pull the lever to save 2 people. If you disagree then you just have a different answer to the problem.

Krauerking,

LoL I call mine “The Incubator” and occasionally by her first name.

She was never worth any other title.

Krauerking,

Yeah actually i think a steady flow of physical currency moving hands is a great thing. And with the large amount of cheap shops and vending machines they move cash around plenty.

But also i once bought groceries while waiting for a train in japan that involved selecting everything through an app paying ahead digitally and picking it up at a special location right outside the station.

Yeah like its literally the future we dream of complete with respect and re-use of goods that still work with a massive second hand market.

Krauerking,

Yeah well you live on a small island that doesnt have much physical resources and has weird wildlife like murder lizards and glow in the dark jellyfish washing up on your beaches and see how your civilization turns out. LoL

Krauerking,

Province makes me think you are in Canada, i will say it gets worse the further south you go and i think it’s a heat and humid air in tue big warehouse where everything is kept all together kinda thing. Further north it gets better in the winter and worse in the summer again but i cant escape the bagels getting moldy within like 3 days of buying them and veggies being limp amd rotting within a similar time depending on which ones i got.

Krauerking,

No see i think there is a problem with Lemmy. Its not seeking to be a new space that fills a need and slowly expand. Its already trying to be a clone of something else. Hoarders came in and moved in all their junk and now its to full of crap to see or move around in. And the forced identity effect is still happening cause it was built upon a communist graveyard and we are haunted by ghosts of people saying the only way forward is still back.
