I don’t know Klingon at all lol. I just searched on “Klingon words that begin with D” and landed here after much SEO nonsense. The page is obviously non-exhaustive and I just went with something with two syllables. DarSeq works perfectly and I’m-a edit that title right about now. Thanks!

11 rikers is a bit intimidating, though.

I have an idea, whether it gets implemented or not is a whole other story. That’s a lot of layers, and 25 years of corporate IT has me loathe to sit in front of a computer any more than I have to. Add executive dysfunction and seasonal depression into the mix and I’m much more likely just to upvote everyone else’s stuff lol.

Neat. So, it could be a coincidence that all of this started to happen just as the absurdly long titles of Japanese light novels were becoming a meme in the west. But it’s dead on for style (if not content lol), and the timing is perfect. Judging by reactions and responses, the “anime bad” types are having none of it. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I can see this post from both startrek.website (18.5) and kbin.social (not a Lemmy server). On both your last listed post is “Taste is subjective,” though there are more recent comments.

Edit: I went through something similar on kbin.social. Post federation was hit and miss, mostly miss. I eventually signed up here and now do posting from Lemmy and most of my browsing through kbin.
