They’re disgusting creatures. Takes a lot for me to hate anything more than mosquitos but at least they have the decency to fuck off once they get you.
Mario Odyssey was great and I won’t hear otherwise. Beautiful and diverse levels, lots of hidden moons, and some really complex and interesting new platform mechanics made for a fantastic game.
Did you subscribe through Apple’s app store or the Google play store? If you did I think you need to cancel it through the subscription pages of those apps.
My mother worked at a catholic school; she was sexually harassed by the principal of the school and rather than firing the POS the diocese sent the whole staff to sexual harassment training. I found that to be a real slap in the face. Showed me they still had zero interest in accountability. I still appreciate the message behind a lot of what the church preaches (I loathe some of their stances, mostly related to sex and abortion) but I refuse to enable their hypocrisy.
The I found the colors to be beautiful, especially in the Mexican pyramid motif level. Can you be more specific about what you mean when you say it feels Hollywood? Are you referring to the plot of the game?
It’s possible, just more annoying to pirate on iPad. I mainly use a vpn+ movie web with decent results, my main gripe is if I cast from my iPad to my tv movie web doesn’t bring the subtitles over, they keep playing on my iPad instead.
I’m not sure if Stremio+torrentio work. If you have the luxury of having access to a media server there’s some good options to access that content from iPads.
As for torrenting, currently there are no torrent apps allowed on the App Store. You can use a service like Seedr to download the torrent for you which you can then direct download. Again, possible, just more annoying than it should be for a personal computing device. I’m hopeful that this will change with Apple seemingly being forced to allow third party app stores. Time (and the EU) will tell
