NeoNachtwaechter, 1 year ago I hope we can separate the DE from the OS some day We had that from the beginning of X. It could abstract nicely from all unices and even a little M$. That era ended (unintentionally) with the dawn of KDE and GNOME, and I’m afraid it won’t come back with Wayland.
