All jokes aside the original game was the best but crystal wasn’t too bad. I didn’t really get to play it too much though honestly.
I don’t have anyone to play with so it’s kind of pointless to go through and not be able to trade with someone to get the Pokémon’s I want or fight any real battles.
The best part of red and blue was that everyone else was also playing it when I was a kid. So I could battle my friends on the school bus and trade Pokémon. That’s what made the game so enjoyable and I’m sure that’s why a lot of crystal fans feel the same about their version of the game.
I have a peer like this. Good intentions but he has a massive ego. I do a lot of technical work and he is a project manager. He often doesn’t understand the actual issue at play and this can summarize a lot of our interactions easily.
Thankfully. I call the shots when it comes to resolving the issue. His input isn’t always necessary 🤣
The nice thing about the fediverse is all my votes are displayed. I generally only down vote a post if it’s way off topic or it’s rife with hate. This also applies to comments.
I generally upvote most things as long as it fits the topic, even if I generally disagree with it.
The smartphone era peaked in the 2010’s and its just the same garbage repackaged into a shiny new box. I miss innovation. Now all we get are phones with non removable batteries and no headphone jack.
Rains Bran is the only one I still buy sometimes. I prefer to cook my breakfast but it’s great for when I’m stoned in the middle of the night and want something to snack on.
This is so sad for me. RIF was the first app for mobile for me. I ended up going with Apollo eventually but why did either of these awesome apps have to die? I can't believe they are willing to throw away everything they promised for money. I won't stand for corporate greed. I used Reddit to fight against that behavior and they literally became the exact thing I hate the most.
