Anyone else get the feeling that GPT-3.5 is becoming dumber?

I made an app for myself that can be used to chat with GPT and it also had some extra features that ChatGPT didn’t (but now has). I didn’t use it (only Bing AI sometimes) for some time and now I wanted to use it again. I had to fix some API stuff because the OpenAI module jumped to 1.0.0, but that didn’t affect any prompt (this is important: it’s my app, not ChatGPT, so cannot possibly be a prompt cause if I did nothing) and I didn’t edit what model it used.

When everything was fixed, I started using it and it was obviously dumber than it was before. It made things up, misspelled the name of a place and other things.

This can be intentional, so people buy ChatGPT Premium and use GPT-4. At least GPT-4 is cheaper from the API and it’s not a subscription.

On Voyager at least, I didn’t see anything until I clicked “Select text” to show the raw thing.

You also dropped a few of these I think: 🐈🐈🐈🐈🐈

They could’ve easily continue going the Catalina way (you can allow 32-bit programs to run after a warning if upgraded from an older OS), but they didn’t. I don’t understand why they forced 64-bit on Big Sur, it breaks so many old, non-updated apps and they know that.

We just have to remove the roof from that thing so it won’t be shadowy, and make a wall in the bottom so it can’t be used to lay down.

It will also complain that trying to break into the castle is unsafe, so you have to tell it that you know.

Sync manages these long vertical images the best.

Also good on Voyager.

Because it’s not familiar. Onlyoffice looks like M$ Word 2019 though, so I’d much rather recommend that to ex-word users.

Yes, you can install it with winget to make your job in the terminal easier.

The comment definitely didn’t feel light-hearted.

And that’s part of what I like about it. I know how to operate in the terminal and it’s the same in all Unix OSes.

They definitely scan your photos, but definitely not to personalize ads.

Also, you can easily turn off ad personalization in your Google account.

As for building their AI system, this is also true but it’s opt-in. It allows your photos to be shown to people using Crowdsource to help improve Google AI.

I set the Xbox username “Myname420”, myname was of course my name. I didn’t know what 420 meant at the time, I just thought it looked good. Later I wanted to change it, but it was paid and I didn’t care that much, it only showed up in Minecraft when I logged in (because that was the only game tied to that username I played).

I don’t know how people get this. I tried but it didn’t do this.
