Firstly, discord is entirely the wrong medium for documentation.
Secondly, documentation should be at least as accessible as the code. That is to say, if I can view the code without creating an account for some service, then I should also be able to read the documentation too.
What are people’s thoughts about the children’s size urinal? Never use it if there’s another option? Only use it if the other option would place you adjacent to another person? What about if you have a choice between adult and child’s urinals next to each other, but using the child’s urinal would allow space for another person to optimally avoid neighboring persons?
I feel like this is a variant of the trolley problem that’s woefully unexplored.
Maurice Sendak, author of Where the Wild Things Are wrote about childhood, saying:
People say “Oh Mr Sendak! I wish I were in touch with my childhood self, like you” as if it were all quaint and succulent, like Peter Pan. Childhood is cannibals and psychopaths vomiting in your mouth.
I don’t really know if it has much to do with Gary Larson’s childhood, but I just love finding an opportunity to bring up that quote.
I’m relatively new to the espresso game and my espresso always tastes a bit sour… please help! I’m using a Breville Barista Express. From what I understand, the sourness is generally because of under extraction. The water seems to be at around 190-200 degrees, so I don’t think that’s the issue. I’ve tried to dial in...
How many grams of espresso are coming out at the other end? The rule of thumb is around 2x the mass of coffee in the portafilter. However, that’s just a rough guide. Generally, more water -> more extraction -> less sour. Just for experimentation’s sake, try adjusting variables like fineness or water, and let the shot time go longer. See how you like the results.
I tried to follow all the rules of espresso. “Only X seconds of brew time”, “Only this Y grams of water”. I never got a good tasting shot. Then I started experimenting. I have a pretty cheap DeLonghi Dedica, and I began to tailor my shots to how my machine actually works, vs how others told me to do it.
Nowadays, I pull a ~43g shot from 18g of coffee. I have my grinder set to some fineness level that I haven’t needed to adjust in months. The shots I pull are always better than most non-specialty coffee shops. Sometimes, I even get a perfect shot that tastes like heaven. It all became better when I stopped focusing on rules and started learning what my machine likes.
According to Google book search, the phrase goes at least back to the 1800s. It’s interesting to see that spike between 1900 and 1950. I’d bet it’s related to the horrors of WW1.
As for what it means, other posters have answered: To have faith in humanity is to believe that humans on average have an inherent desire to do the right thing.
Because then you can use the ARC protocol to minimize the number of remotes. The TV will pass volume controls through the HDMI port and the sound bar will adjust volume.
It can’t. The title is not clear about how Firefox will “Ship with [support for] Wayland [compositors] by default”. Previously this native support was limited to pre-release Firefox builds.
I am just getting back my sea legs, but apparently they’re pretty shaky because I can’t get my ubuntu torrent (no seriously, it is) to download. It never starts downloading and is stuck in “stalled”. I’ve tried a number of things, but even with default settings it isn’t starting. I’m using proton VPN on Linux Mint,...
Does the user running qbittorrent have write access to the downloads directory? Any special messages in the logs?
You might also want to try running qbittorrent through docker. I use github.com/DyonR/docker-qbittorrentvpn. Just make sure that you set the PUID and PGUID to match a user id + group id that has r/w access to your downloads directory.
