The neat thing about post scarcity societies is that economic systems become moot so long as the government isn’t particularly oppressive. It’s still an hierarchical, and somewhat militaristic, society.

It also followed the old scifi serial blueprint they were used to.

It’s a pretty legit movement. I have met some more ‘witchy’ types that take it too seriously, but meh. Not hurting anyone so who cares.

Google has a feature where it’ll tell you if your personal information shows up in their index and you can request they remove it from being served.

I can say that my personal information has shown up a few times.

Don’t bother. Enrich the lives of those around you. Feed homeless. Help friends start small businesses. Fix single mother’s cars. Ensure your own stability first, though.

I really like the idea of testing alternative business and corporate structures and definitely not developing a model library for medical devices to print.

The fears aren’t necessarily illogical. At least, they may not be irrational. If they have incorrect information their thought process may be sound.

I also included descriptions of my emotional reactions to flight in case someone finds that useful.

AA has no better effectiveness than cold turkey, but if the venn diagram isn’t a circle AA might still have a place.
