Pyr_Pressure, to memes in Seriously spends $80 to drive 20km..

For me it’s not so much trying to insult them for having a small dick, but insulting them for caring so much about having a small dick they feel the need to compensate.

Doesn’t matter that their dick is small, just that they’re so insecure about it they need to try and tell the world it’s not true.

Someone I work with has never not owned a truck, mostly because “they don’t need the hassle of renting one when they need to do yardwork and buy a fridge from the store” or something.

So spending an extra $20,000-$30,000 every 10 years is totally worth those occasional trips and avoiding renting a tailer/pickup from home Depot maybe twice a year.

Pyr_Pressure, to science_memes in Nuclear power? That's just steam power with extra steps!

Boil shit, burn shit, and blow shit up. Humans in a nut shell.

Pyr_Pressure, (edited ) to memes in they dont know brain named them

How do you know your kidney didn’t name your brain something else?

What if all your organs had consciousness but just couldn’t communicate? You just got lucky and are the brain that controls everything.

They are all slaves to the brain that knows if they don’t do what they’re supposed to they will die with the body so go along with it all.

I do wonder the resolution that it could detect.

Can a leaf detect the difference in blue light coming from above and green light surrounding it? Can it detect the green and brown light surrounding it? The red light reflecting off a bird sitting above it?

If it’s sensitive enough to the different wavelengths a leaf wouldn’t really be all that much different from an eye.

Oh, I fully put the blame on Microsoft for all of my emails issues that I’ve been having.

Microsoft is balls.

I fucking hate Microsoft so goddamn much for their bullshit naming process.

I also hate everyone for the stupid process of separating work and personal accounts. It’s caused me nothing but grief.

It’s such a stupid fucking name too.

I tried it, and then it wouldn’t load any previous history or emails so I contacted support to try and see if I did something wrong during setup.

Labelled it as trouble with “outlook” because it’s… The “new” outlook, no?

They went through and tried to diagnose my issue for awhile before telling me they couldn’t do anything because the Outlook (new) isn’t actually outlook it’s relabeled windows mail and I setup my ticket wrong.

So how are you supposed to differentiate outlook vs outlook (new) when they are supposedly completely separate programs?

Yes they would struggle, but eventually they would adapt.

If everything but plants disappeared tomorrow, many plants would die but some would survive and adapt.

If everything but fungi disappeared tomorrow, they would all die out.

Same with animals.

Bacteria would survive like plants would, with most of them dying but many surviving and adapting.

Pyr_Pressure, to science_memes in 𓍊𓋼😿𓋼𓍊

Not plants and bacteria, many of them can survive off sunlight and minerals broken down from stones, such as lichen. Although I guess lichen is a combination of plants, bacteria and fungi

Pyr_Pressure, to science_memes in 𓍊𓋼😿𓋼𓍊

Wouldn’t fungi all die out if it weren’t for plants and bacteria? They’re parasitic and feed on dead things no?

Are there many species there that are specific to Iceland which would be harmed by lupines and pines taking over?

If it’s most an amalgamation of stuff that commonly found elsewhere I think it would be fine.

If pine seeds came to Iceland on the wind 100 years before humans got there it would have been considered native. Most the seeds of all the other stuff got there the same way I imagine, unless they’ve been isolated since the island split from a continent somewhere.

Pyr_Pressure, to memes in It's just the most 100 recently saved songs. The fuck.

I specifically use shuffle on my favourite list when I get tired of the music rut I’m in and want to listen to the shit I listened to 5-10 years ago

Pyr_Pressure, to memes in I've unfortunately made this mistake at Costco of all places.

Depends on the items. Things that you don’t typically buy on a weekly basis is the draw, then while You’re there you may as well get your stuff for the week.

We don’t typically go to Costco every week, for us it’s a once a month type trip. Things like dog food, toilet paper, paper towels, meat that you can freeze for later (typically the best quality meat around here), cheese, treats, etc.

Most things that are expensive elsewhere are cheaper there and in a larger size.
