It’s not simple at all, I absolutely agree. And leaving family behind sucks. On the other hand I know several people who left Europe and moved to Australia and Canada for example. It can work even though it won’t be easy for everyone involved. But if the alternative is having my kids get shot at school I’d still try. Plus all the social security that’s missing in the US would probably make other countries more attractive to me too.
Most people who think of themselves as ugly aren’t nearly as ugly as they think imo.
Often they are average looking or slightly below average looking. And that’s only in regards to the conventional beauty standards. We just easily get a false sense of what normal people look like these days.
I called it the statistical approach. I messaged any woman I found visually attractive or that seemed interesting and fun through their description. Didn’t limit myself to one app and in messages always made it clear I was looking for a relationship in real life and wasn’t looking to chat for long. I probably messaged around 20 to 40 people a day. Got a positive message back around every 2 days or so. So one in 2 days roughly. Sometimes less, sometimes more. I had a several dates during the course of half a year or so ranging from fun to boring to catastrophic. Some casual hookups happened but it was rare. Sometimes dating lasted for a few weeks but didn’t work out. Then eventually I met my now wife and mother of my kids.
Online dating is still bs but I found this approach to work for me.
Most people who want to not have kids I know IRL just want to keep their freedom to do what they want and keep the freetime they currently have. Or for financial reasons.
But childfree on the web is often simply hating on kids or moreso their parents really.
Also just go to adult only restaurants, hotels, etc. That’s what those are for right. When we have a night out without the kids that’s what we do even. Nothing worse than getting the kids to grandma to then be screamed at by kids during dinner.
