Luckypatchers.com is the real one.
Also you should avoid pureapk, it has malware.
I recommend sticking to apkmirror if the application is available there.

It’s works, but it’s much more effective on a rooted device.

You can literally use photoshop in your browser now, thanks to webassembly.

The joke is that the 25y old Linux software is still maintained.

Just use trusted repos 👍
We have GPG for a reason.

Possibly, but Firefox & Chrome based browsers have the same built-in isolation and other security measures as on Windows. Plus you can use Ublock Origins to get rid of malvertisements. If you really wanted, you can also isolate the browser entirely with something like firejail.
Hardend forks like LibreWolf are good too.
Oh, and Wayland also isolates clients from each other too.

I don’t think it’s that big of a threat as long as you keep some level of common sense.

Xfce does have a w-i-p porting effort to Wayland.

True, but at least development is steady for now. Maybe in a few years.

You could use PiP and Ublock Origins on Firefox Mobile for a long time now.

New to Linux, have a few questions

I currently use Windows 10 and I’d like to try out Linux. My plan is to set up a dual boot with OpenSUSE tumbleweed and KDE Plasma. I’ve read so many different opinions about choosing a distro, compatibility with gaming and Nvidia drivers, and personal issues with the ethos of different companies like Canonical. I value...

The home directory is like the Windows users directory, yes.
In the shell/terminal it’s represented by ~ or $HOME, it’s path is likely /home/$USER/
First / = Root
$USER = current user account you’re using.

You should check out this Arch Wiki page & this Arch man page.
Don’t worry it’s pretty distro agnostic.

Wine should just work.
Waydroid needs extra support from the kernel that linux-hardend has disabled at compile time. There’s a DKMS solution however.

It’s an Android thing.

That just means they have the feature enabled at compile time. Linux-Zen is the only kernel that has it on Arch.

Have you tried firefox-nightly?
